This merges guitar playing and modular synthesizers. Its awesome and I always believed the two were more closely linked than we thought. Synthesizers use voltage controlled oscillation into an amplifier, mixer ,wave patterns, envelope generators etc. . Guitar players vibrate a string that is sensed by a pick up . Itcreates a signal that is sent to an amplifier. Both use effects and other controllers. These pedals are brilliant. For the person who wants to create in this way of course.

LoL. I knew these pedals could be musical! Thanks, Danish Pete!

Now imagine combining several of these units together with different delays and effects on different notes, you could have a chord that has a different delay, reverb and chorus effect on every note in the chord, lol it would cost a fortune but would be interesting.

You could pair it up with the submarine pick-up. This can be attached to any guitar and allows for a single pickup for each string. These can then be switched on/off to two outputs that can then be pedal chained! Bonkers!

This is so incredibly cool!!!!! I understand there’ll be a learning curve. I mean, it’s actually not that hard to understand what unbelievable kinds of things you can create by just these three pedals alone, or even just one of them. But I think the learning curve lives more in understanding the basics of all the controls, although the underlying principles are basically pretty much the same in setting the points where (or below, above, or around) you want things to change using pitch or dynamics, or both, or……. O man, I’m just so excited! 😃 I think I want them all, but I’m afraid I’ll have to be patient. Which one will I go for first? Hmmmmm…., probably the delay. 🤔 On a completely different note…., I was saving for a Gretsch G6636T. I don’t think I will change my mind, but looking at that ‘The Heritage’ guitar… that would be very much in the same ballpark. And it’s something that I’m surprised about to see that some manufacturers are finally picking up on this concept. Of course Gibson had the Chris Cornell model. I expected this idea (semi hollow, center block, Filtertron type pickups and an old style whammy bar) to become a new and very popular standard, just like at some point almost everyone had to have a Cabronita Tele because they were super cool. What happened to those by the way? Anyway, cool guitar and EXTREMELY COOL PEDALS!!! 😎😎😎

I’ll be able to do some really wild things with that delay. Might have to pick up a chorus too.

Wow. That chorus and delay and reverb are… blazingly bright. Certainly will cut through a mix. Or concrete walls. Or diamonds.

Gamechanger Audio really needs to send out someone who can demo the pedals with some compositional examples. These "effects" go beyond timbre/tone shaping.

It's bleedin' obvious these are not generic chorus/delay/reverb pedals. If you're the type of person that is comfortable with more complex creative posibilities then these are for you...and you already know if this is you or not. If you're a generic guitarist then walk away, these are not for you. No amount of explaining/superbly crafted demos is going to make you 'get it'. I've crossed this line a few times - I have pedals which I can use but it's a waste of the amount of talent in the pedal because I fooled myself into thinking I was cleverer than I am. Demos like this honestly show who you need to be to appreciate these.

The obvious question no one seems to be asking- can I connect one pedal to the other using the patch cables? Like using a parameter of one pedal to trigger or control the parameter of another. And why did you not include an LFO?
@mariodriessen9740
@mariodriessen9740 Ай бұрын
I think you can, but the controls are pretty much the same on each pedal, so you don’t really need to do this. I could be completely wrong, so don’t take my word for it, but I do believe you’re pretty much covered for all the things you could and might want to do with these pedals, unless you want one parameter to control three or more other parameters at once. But again, I could be completely wrong. 🫣

I think I have seen in the original video where the guy told Lee you could do that. So you could for example use your reference note for delay but have it where the level of input on that controls the reverb, so when you play the note that is delayed, if you dig in, it opens up the reverb.

To me, these are that tool you didn't know you needed, until you know about them and then you realize you don't need them.😆 But they would be fun to play around with, though.

These pedals are trying to create effects that would be done within a studio after a recording by an engineer. There could be rare situations where these would be utilized, but not too often. I wouldn't want to base my career on unique sounds from these pedals. These are fun gadgets for those with the money to entertain themselves for a while before they get sold as used. The engineering was very impressive.

They could also open up a riff possibility that would otherwise be very hard to play live?

I wouldn't base my career on a sound from any pedal or other device- that's ridiculous. That said- if ppl can make a ring modulator not just work but sound really cool- and I've heard ppl do it- then they can do the same thing with this, I have no doubt. One man's gimmick is another man's tool- and personally I can't wait to hear what someone does with these things.

If you need an engineer and a studio to create sounds that you can create all by yourself with a pedal like this, then you know as a pedal engineer you created the perfect pedal for lots of people to enjoy. I think someone like Brian Eno would embrace devices like these. So would I.

These are not 'fun gadgets' for the majority - but some other people live in the realm of creativity where verse/chorus/verse/chorus is not the only possibility. It helps if you know which you are - if you're happy with a Boss CE2 them good for you for knowing yourself, but stop throwing shade on those that think otherwise.
