RandomOrdinary Girl not entirely true. Technically in Mario Galaxy she was saved from not having any electricity or means of moving her starship because Mario returned her power stars. Also in the second one, she was saved from being kidnapped by Bowser because right before entering the castle, you get a cutscene where you watch as Bowser's ship is trying to pull a comet, Rosalina's ship in. So while she is the only one not needing saved like other princesses, she's still been saved by Mario.

StarfiaWorld I'll give you my reason. Pauline was Mario's first love, then peach is his second. She made an epic comeback on the newest game. Peach is a princess. Pauline is a mayor . But that's not my reason. The main reason is that , well, Pauline has been forgotten. By that I mean many others haven't heard of her. Some remembered her from the new game. And others searched for her after the new game came. Some just know peach. And just seeing Peach, getting married by Mario. And Pauline just being alone, makes me sad. But I guess everyone has different opinions. So opinion respected?

talk about forgotten, that's nintendo.. in a great game like this we get rabbit bosses because bowsers kids were not good enough then we got a bowser jr.. when they released mario maker they forgot to finish the game, they put mario bros 3 and world in it.. just not the best parts of those games.. only mb1 was complete. pauline was is more games then some enemy's, did bowser kidnap her to or was it only donkey kong? would make sense if bowser never kidnapped her and that's why we get peach.. maybe they should put 2 bosses in the game since you want pauline they should put donkey kong in every mario game.

jblue88 hood gamer the movie isn't exactly canon to how the games are really portrayed though...the only reason Mario even sounds Italian is because he plays homage to Miyamoto's Italian landlord but that never gave reason to suspect Mario CAME from New York...its safe to assume that New Donk City is the Mushroom Kingdom equivalent of NYC but when it comes to Mario lore: they don't give us a lot to work with usually (Ex. In the case of Rosalina there's quotes from people who worked on Mario Galaxy that said that Miyamoto regret giving Rosalina a backstory, he literally wants Mario characters to be pretty one-dimensional, which is a shame because some of the best Mario games have compelling stories and characters even if Mario is a silent protagonist) TL;DR if u read this I just got off work and I'm tired 😅 plus I need a life

Pauline's not a fighter - even Peach has been shown actually taking action, even fairly early on thanks to the U.S. getting a reskinned Doki Doki Panic. Pauline's a politician (I think she's Mayor of New Donk City?), a businesswoman (I think?), and a Damsel in Distress. Never once been a fighter. Hell, even her Spirit fight in Smash Ultimate now... "Pauline" (represented by Peach) just runs away while Mario and Donkey Kong defend her.
