Why doesn't Princess Daisy sound like she used to?

I Barely noticed Daisy until I heard Deana mustard's voice acting for her she gave her such a fun and very fitting personality with the voice clips she provided. It didn't take long before she became my absolute favorite and she still is to this day! She may not be the best princess character in the series but in my eyes she's still the GOAT! 😌

I really like our current Princess Daisy voice, the one done by Deanna Mustard. Her voice clips have a lot of character. Like, she sounds sporty and a bit tomboyish in a way that is really fun. If they give her a different voice, I'd love to see something similar to the one in Compact Disco, since that voice also had a bit of charm to it.

It's hard to believe that Daisy used to be sound as elegant and innocent and Peach. But I like to think that she was that way at first back in Mario Land, with a Small Tomboy side, but as she participated in more Sports and Events, she got more enthusiastic and excited for these Spin-offs, and she became more of the chipper Go-Getter we're more familiar with today.

Thank you for making this video, I feel like Daisy's voice actresses aren't talked about very much, so I learned a lot. Kate Fleming's case was one that I didn't know about and it genuinely shocked me to hear she passed away, that was sad. I find it very intriguing how Jen Taylor, a former voice for Peach would eventually provide the voice for Daisy, you can definitely hear the cutesiness in that voice, Kate’s voice was also good too, it made Daisy sound more mature imo kinda like Rouge the Bat with the 4Kids Cast, Deanna Mustard was so great in giving Daisy her true identity in being cheerful, sporty and energetic!🌼🧡👸

Nintendo made a great decision to cut Daisy's hair short. She felt too much like a Peach clone with the long hair and with the short hair she feels like her own unique princess and one that I can confidently call my favorite. It's great that Daisy was able to develop into her own distinct character, with that iconic voice probably being the crucial element that helped Nintendo view her as the more fiery, sassy, and loud-mouthed counterpart to Peach that everyone loves now. Funny seeing as I vividly remember a time when Daisy was extremely unpopular and everyone seemingly hated her, with that voice being THE primary reason. Great video, hoping to see one on Rosalina who originally had a more mature and ethereal sounding voice before settling on the more perky but still slightly deep voice she has today.

I have been playing Mario Kart 8 recently and I realized I have been thinking of Daisy as having a country bumpkin accent for some reason. I have never really paid attention to the character, and I am not sure if it's because of the name Daisy makes me think of Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard, or her hairstyle or what. I could picture her taking people's orders at Waffle House, then fist fighting drunk customers in the parking lot. Her dress is even appropriately colored for Waffle House's colors.
