we're gonna take you back to the past... the year is 2021. gameclam 1 was a smash hit selling millions of unsellable consoles... and it looks like the company's at it again. what do they have in store?? nobody knows.. except me, baaulp, trog and wayne because we will be revisiting GAMECLAM 2, watching it for the first time since it aired.
join us as we try to remember wtf we did. gameclam 2 is the one i remember the least because of how fast it was put together, so it will be a nice treat for us to experience some of this seemingly for the first time again..

I like how the Gameclam 1 commentary had an undercurrent of "This was a lot better than I remember!" while this commentary is just "Wow, this was *so much worse* than I remember."

I can see why yall think this one was worse than you remember, but GOD its easily my favourite one. The whole DMCA bit aging badly honestly makes it even better, because now its this surreal nightmare world where sound is cutting out for seemingly no reason at all. That, and the whole celebrity segment with the split-second clapping during the moment of silence is comedic genius. Simply superb.

This Gameclam conference is my favorite. From the long pauses of nothing, the patents, Gameclam lover, the super scuffed production, the Kratos money feeding, the death of Jeph, the Vin Diesel, but most importantly, Toys In Space. Genuinely played it on repeat for hours on our Discord server vc, sometimes leaving it on for 24 hours straight. Such a great song.

I think this and Gameclam 3 are easily my favorites in the history of this little corner of the net. Like, when I think Gameclam, the first thought that comes to mind is "Do not smell the tube". While I agree the pacing was very....questionable, the concept alone lands it a very special place in my heart.

The gameclam slim might be my favorite design and this my favorite gameclam conference. The DMCA cutouts are so, so funny, and the awkward pacing and mix of deliberate and accidental editing mistakes really make it for me, rather than making it less funny.

Gameclam 2 might be one of the more broken and poorly paced ones but it's still probably my favorite primarily because of how much I laughed at the ATM bit and everyone's performance. I love every rtvs production please never stop

Actually. Metallica didn't perform at Ubisoft's conference. It was Blizzard-con, which had Metallica playing their song, and then the livestream was muted. I remembered that cause there was a video where the guy who has a cat mascot talked about the DMC problem.

I think this is my favorite Gameclam by far. This type of comedy works best when most of it is improvised and nobody knows what the fuck they're doing (as seen in the god of war gameplay demo). Gameclam 3 and 4 are great, but they feel way too scripted and don't capture the pure chaos that 1 and 2 do. The lower the production value the better I feel. Regardless, I'm really excited to see where they take Gameclam 5.

Gameclam 2 is decidedly my favorite one of the conferences. the ATM idea, with the exhaust tubes, is just *so* funny, and this conference is exactly broken and scuffed enough (on purpose and from editing mistakes) to hit a sweet spot. The mistakes genuinely don't come through as mistakes, it just feels like part of the bit.

This sentiment has been echoed but honestly all of the weird bad parts of this (the pacing, the music having to be changed, Mistar Whyte not knowing the lyrics to Gameclam Lover, etc.), all of which are said by y'all to make this conference worse are the soul of this Gameclam. It's so awkward that it loops around to being prestige level comedy.
