Freedom Wars is in my Top 10 Favourite Video Games of all Time. I cannot wait for this remaster, and I have my fingers crossed that it gets a sequel!

That and Soul Sacrifice Delta were my 2 most favourite games ever on the PS Vita! In fact, Freedom Wars has been the only game that I've ever platinumed on all PS consoles. I remember playing it for so long. I used to play it online a lot! Always farming and killing the latest and strongest monsters. The bad thing is that I don't have access to my save since I jailbroke my PS Vita and that must be lost in the PS cloud I don't remember. I wish I had access to my builds, but playing it from scratch still sounds like a lot of fun! I'll be buying it on the PS5 since I guess there is gonna be the largest online community (like 100 people xD). I'd gladly buy it for the Switch for the handheld experience, but the graphics are gonna be way better on the PS5... maybe if they add cross save I may buy it on the switch too. I only want to be able to play it online again :') If they add additional content like new and harder monsters that would be insane!! And a sequel would be a dream!!

I *REALLY* hope this does well. I also would hope that Remasters for Nintendo Switch of Toukiden 2 and the God Eater Bundle of God Eater: Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst as well. I enjoyed those games *ALOT* along with Freedom Wars back on PS Vita.

I hope they at least added the Knuckles and Pistol weapons properly into the game this time. The original had them unfinished and so they were only available for NPCs, until a mod made them player-usable.

one thing is that I hope they don't lock mission on events, I've been playing the original on the vita from time to time and it's sucks that some mission are locked on event that requires you to be online, the problem is that the servers are down and you can't access those mission anymore

Bandai Namco dropped a new trailer just 2 days after you posted this video. After watching both the JP and EN versions, I'm kind of sad to say that the Accessory Voice text customization doesn't seem to be returning in this Remaster.

Seeing the trailer for this randomly appear in my feed was such a welcome and pleasant surprise! 😮🎉 I was so convinced this game was dead when the PS Vita console flopped, but held onto hope when Gravity Rush made it onto the PS 4 and even got a sequel! Hopefully more PS Vita gems get remastered and shown the appreciation they deserve! I don't know of a whole lot of memorable PS Vita exclusives, but I'd love to see Soul Sacrifice come back too! 😊

There's a video that showed it does work so far. I will say I play helldivers 2 on the steam deck and that has a kernal anti cheat and works just fine on it.

The PVP is mostly optional, its main focus is 1 to 8 player Co-op which can also be done with bots

a dub is the first step to making me even think of getting it again for me freedom wars is at the bottom of the vita monster hunter likes with soul sacrifice and nowhere near the heights of lord of apocalypse or age of demons I really didnt like freedom wars so if anything ill “demo” it on my switch but theres little chance im gonna be impressed enough to actually buy it
