Note that the way dolphin comes pre-configured with this is all wrong. It overrides the console cpu speed by 400 percent so you're emulating a gamecube with an insane overclock. Also comes with gamespeed at 105 percent by default. Change those back to 100 and everything will run way better. I have no idea why anbernic did this.

@@CrazyBurger seriously, I tried soul calibur 2 with dolphin and it was running like crap. Changed those settings and now playing at locked 60 at 2x resolution. I imagine less tech savvy people getting this and having a bad experience thinking the machine itself is bad when it's all anbernic's fault.

@CrazyBurger - I'm still enjoying the RG ARC-D for Saturn, Dreamcast, and 3DO, but this may be cool for more advanced systems...

@@JohnnyProctor9 The RG Arc was actually pretty decent too. Not quite as good as the cube. But definitely has a nice feel, especially for saturn.

That's weird, I was looking at this exact device yesterday night. Top tip: The boost start in F-Zero GX works the same as Mario Kart, don't tap at it just learn the timing on the lights. I'm very very fast in GX, it's my all time favourite and most played racer, one of my most played games of all time (maybe my most played). I would never play it without a GC controller though, the analogue trigger click downs are important for mastering the game and never slowing down. That said GX doesn't emulate perfectly, I have it on my PC and it seems to have shader loading stutter at launch, but the audio doesn't wig out.

F Zero was easily the poorest emulated title here but still played ok despite the chudders. If that's even a word

@@backudog Thankfully yes. Gameplay was fine but yeah that music was painful.

I love the gamecube library. I've been playing them on the rp4pro. I think performance might be a little better there. But I do like the form factor of the cube

I was tempted with the Retroid Pocket 4 but felt that that Retroid Pockets have been harder work to set up. I did enjoy the Retroid Pocket 3. Gamecube emulation and PS2 have made great strides over the years. Ideally you really need a more powerful unit for near perfect emulation. The Steamdeck is probably one of the better ones put there but far pricier than the RG Cube.

@CrazyBurger the steam deck is my next purchase. I've wanted one for about a year now but that price scared me. I know enough about it now I'm comfortable spending the money
