Game Dev KZbin is a very tricky niche but like you said I have definitely also noticed more and more smaller channels popping up these past 6 months than in the past 5 years. Great recent ones I found is BiteMe Games and Sasquatch B Studios So even though there aren't mega hits like Brackeys/Dani getting millions of views, there are a ton of interesting channels making awesome videos/games. Nice video!

Surprised you didn't mention ThinMatrix. He's not super active these days but he's been around since near enough the beginning of gamedev on KZbin. Pretty sure his devlog style inspired many that came after him.

Producing high quality videos for an uncaring crowd is just too much work. I have stopped editing my videos altogether. I much rather spend the time coding.
