I loved Shenmue 3! ❤ Got rich playing the ball game early (can quick save and quick reload if you fail), bought a crap ton of Apples and never had to worry about running out of health. Enjoyed the combat, music and exploration. I hope they make Shenmue 4 some day. Please.

A note about gamers not upgrading to PS5 which is just anecdotal: I'm an old-timer haven't gained for decades since PS2 so drink covid it was a no-brainer if I wanted to try gaming again would get a PS5. I had a couple friends and clients whose kids/grandkids both in their early to mid twenties, still on a ps4. Hardcore gamers as they were growing up all through their teens, neither felt any need to upgrade and yes the cost, but also one of them hadn't even bothered with a essential PS Plus account because online play was getting pretty lame anyways. As well feeling probably that the best gaming of their lives had passed already and not that much new appealed to them. Maybe they had been oversaturated (I got their recommendations and raves for PS4 must play games tho). Also now they are trying to be busy with their lives, starting and having a career for themselves, trying to have girlfriends, trying to have a life etc. One took an interest in Helldivers 2 to come over and play on my PS5. One said maybe they might consider a ps6 at some point if it's too good not to. Or the other maybe PS5 Pro if GTA VI looks like it's a must buy. But I think they're just in a bit of a lull and not focused on gaming that much atm especially as now after those covid lockdowns, a bounce back and appreciation for getting out more and not gaming in your mom's basement seems more attractive.

It's also important to point out, that, to make owning a ps5 worth it, its also important to have a TV that makes it worth it. I held out on getting a ps5 until I could get a nice 4k TV. I had a really nice 1080p TV and it would not have been worth getting a crappy 4k one. I think this affects its sales too. I known lots of people, especially in Europe that play their ps4s and 5s on PC monitors. Due to space, budget etc....

Hearing Matt’s take on AI is really great to understand how normal people see it, and he’s right to a point where VC money is going to worthless companies, and that will somewhat crash. But Google, Meta and OpenAI will still be pushing forward. Normal people will be scared to death 2-5 years from now by how much progress the tech will make.

He is very ignorant of the current capabilities of it in coding which I can say has completely changed my productivity. Go tell all the creative artists losing their jobs that AI is just a scam.

Like basketball, I only watch baseball when it’s down to the final 4. To Shane’s point, I like playing The Show, but I prefer a simpler more fun game like MLB Slugfest from back in the day.

Haven't watched you guys before and I'm not sure I'll be back much eitherr; unless of course you can cleave off entirely the guy on the left who is such a downer I don't know why he even bothered to get up today... Maybe if you just featured the guy on the right who has a little more pep and personality and is carrying the show for you both yeah that might be viable. Otherwise probably won't be back.

Matt is uninformed on AI. Anyone who wants a CD / Book cover art for example can generate hundreds in seconds. And please don't reply with the designs are rubbish as that is being very ignorant of the current capabilities of it. And for coding which I suspect he does not really do much, I can tell you it has completely changed the industry. Matt is really inferring AI is a scam. Well Nvidias stock does not seem to agree.
