The reason Patreon is down everywhere is because the cost of living is insane in the West. Rent in my city is absolutely absurd. There are A LOT of people struggling in North America at the moment. I'm still subbed to Siftd's Patreon, but it wouldn't take much to screw up my monthly budget, and have to trim the fat. Things like Patreon would be the first to go. Anyway, you'd be the last sub I'd cut, Shane. I love this podcast too much.

As far as I can tell there is no yearly option for Game Pass Ultimate, so it is indeed $240 per year for Ultimate subscribers because it's monthly only.

I know it's a couple weeks late and I may have missed it, but Dragon Age: The Veilguard is 100% singleplayer, no co-op or multiplayer at all.

In regards to the 2nd topic. I'm making the assumption that back when fans insisted that Mass Effect 3's ending should be changed, we can agree that it was a bad idea. We shouldn't change art. Can difficulty in a game be considered art? If so, should we demand change? Even if it limits its accessibility?

I agree with you guys that everybody should be able to play every game. Don’t know where this From difficulty gatekeeping crowd came from. I don’t have the patience for those games so I don’t even play them, but if they had difficulty options then I’d def buy them ‘cause they look cool. I didn’t know Dragon Age sold better than Mass Effect. That bums me out. 😅 Also, I liked Dragon Age 2 the best from what I played because the combat felt the best in it to me. I liked the demo for ExoPrimal. It should’ve been a single player game though. I’m thinking Outlaws reviews around an 8 as well. Nothing looked special enough there to warrant a 9. “Tits on a bridge” 😄

The constant AI being compared to a grift is silly. I'm not sure whether you have experienced it in your line of work, but for coding alone it has changed the game in productivity. It is not a fad, one day you will realise.

I agree. AI is nothing like grift. Having said that they are right that the creative industry is going to push back against ai making stuff based on their content.

Well…I don’t care about Nintendo or Bethesda games. I think the reason consoles are doing poorly is because Sony isn’t churning out great AAA single player games. That is why I have turned to PC games a lot more.
