I got the game a few days ago. Recently beat the Tiger vanguard. It took the most tries out of any other boss to kill him. I knew always throughout my deaths and during the fight that any inconveniences were my fault, and not that the boss was unfair in a way or something, even with some gate breaking attacks. You would allow yourself to attack, and the game would follow, for I usually served a full light attack combo before preparing for his own attacks. Most of his attacks are fun to dodge, especially ones involving his sword. Beating the boss wasn’t necessarily a relief like others, but more of an acceptance. Like a victory won single handedly. Like a fair fight, with two well arranged beings, except for the fact that he is a flesh eating tiger 😅

The block/roll sucks in that & Elden ring so do the attacks, Sekiro was ok but I was playing on the rog ally and it was difficult to see what all was going on at times so I might pick back up on it on the ps5 but idk only if it’s apart of the subscription games

You have to remember, these people played a built with a preset loadout and skills. When you beat it you could have gained every item possible at that point and xp farmed before you went to this boss. Probably also worth noting that it's a demo and they more than likely used it to know how to scale the boss properly

And even if somehow fond everything, you sometimes will not be able to play, yesterday for example, 11 Minutes after opening the line for Monster Hunter was closed, and the last people in line before closing had a waiting time of 8 hours (you were allowed to play a whole mission, about 3 hours long) so those people waited from 9 am to 5 pm and played until 8 pm, when the Gamescom closed.

could be, i mean they intended tiger vanguard to be a early game challenge so they made it super agressive (not necessarily that absurdly stronger than other bosses but very aggressive in how often it attacks), and, as its aggressiveness makes players fearful and retreat, they also gave it super strong and highly damage ranged attacks (it's easier and safer if you stick closer to the boss; 3 chain slashes still deal less damage than the super-long-ranged quick slash). The difficulty is so high that they made have included the pool because it allows you to use the armor set from the chapter 1 snack boss, which gives you massive buffs in water, and that pool of blood counts as water.

Seriously, he's not that hard. The only possible reason you could be losing to him is the intimidation factor, him being a giant tiger soaked in blood which leads people to panick rolling and then he catches you slipping with that delay. Otherwise, he's very straight forward and telegraphs everything.
