I think that the game will be both on past and future. like we start on the past with the normal ancient starters things like hisui but then on the middle of the gameplay we go to the future were we can get the og kalos starters and also get the mega evolutions for them

@@brendanhogan2002 Yep, one of the reasons I picked it XD My only concern is, Scorbunny has a gigantamax form. But Gen8 starters are weirdly absent from a lot of 'current' events PokemonCo wide, like how they aren't in go and the general lack of proper Galar coverage in the anime.

well ive heard people say that piplup is gonna be 100% bc empoleon, play on words for napoleon since its a french game, snivy bc its final evo is what french people think they are 😂 and scorbunny bc of frances love for soccer apparently? but totodile as a water/dragon final evo would make sense as its year of the dragon 🤷‍♂

Pure speculation, as we only have a sample size of 1(Legends Arceus) but I imagine they don't want to pick gen 1 for branding/popularity reasons or the most recent starters because they are so new. Not choosing the gen 6 starters means they can be in the wild which like Legends Arceus is a good move. Finally I predict ALL previous Pokemon with megas will be present, including gen 3 starters. As a result regional starters of gen 3 would be odd and probably won't be included. That leaves gen 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 to draw from. For the sake of balance I assume we'll see one from gen 8, one from gen 4, and another we haven't seen from 2, 5, or 7. This still leaves a lot of different combinations. I think Totodile, Chimchar, and Grooky would be good fits but that could just be me. There's honestly nothing stopping them from going Squirtle, Torchic, and Rowley again if they wanted.

That is true KB pokemon, since torchic line is already hard to interpret I think the hoenn starters will be only exclusive for Pokemon Z-A, but if you want to know what fire starter is going to be it depends what history does kalos takes place or what futuristic is Kalos going to be, because judging by regions, I think game freak is highly possibly bringing Kanto and hoenn starters to the region since it's about Mega evolutions around Kalos, so it could be picked depending what timeline does kalos takes place.

I think whatever three they pick, they will probably just give them reginals again and tbh, thats okay.

The magazine pages starters are fake. Snivy,Torchic, and Piplup are the real ones. Blaziken has a regional form with Mega that is Fire/Flying and Empoleon has a Water/Ice regional form with a Mega, and Serperior… we have to wait for the Tera raid.

If it can't be one that already has a Mega, then I'd guess Snivy, Piplup and Scorbunny. Only other Fire starter that is possible, if Torchic is out of the question, is Litten. I highly doubt they'd put Charmander as a starter here because even if they decided to pick one that already has a Mega, Charmander would still throw the starter choice off balance due to having two Megas instead of just one. It wouldn't really be fair to the other two starters.

I imagine xerneas being a psychic and fairy. When it comes to yveltal I think he should be a dark ghost type because the ghost type can counteract the psychic type of xerneas new form when it comes yveltal The fairy type will have a edge over the dark type but also I don’t know I just had thoughts for these legendary since they’re coming back

The Mauville-Lumiose connection in ORAS has a good chance of showing in ZA. I was not anticipating Torchic as one of the starters until I remembered that. Alternatively, the blue-X and red-Y aesthetic kalos games have could work with Lucario and Blaziken respectively(Legendaries notwithstanding). It’s even in the edges of dash on the Z-A logo. I loved having Mega Blaziken in both Y and OR, and if it’s in ZA, I’m definitely going for round 3 hehehe 😎

I am new to this channel. However I have an idea for the Starters for the next Legends game. Chikorita, Tepig, and Piplup. They will of course have regional variants in their final evolutions such as the typings: ▪︎Meganium Grass/Dragon ▪︎Emboar Fire/Ground ▪︎Empoleon Water/Electric If by chance that they do get Megas then these will be there Types: ▪︎Mega Meganium Dragon/Fairy ▪︎Mega Emboar Ground/Dark ▪︎Mega Empoleon Electric/Steel These are speculations however I hope one of these ideas comes to light

Question: If Torchic and Squirtle were starters in PL:ZA, wouldn’t that mean that you cannot in fact evolve them into Blaziken + Blastoise in Kalos? And that would mean that their regional variants (or alternate evos?!) would either not mega evolve at all or have a regional mega evolution. That seems extremely unlikely to me… I think it would make more sense to have regional variants of the final evolutions of starters without a mega evolution (e.g. Serperior) + megas of the original Kalos starters…
