The scene begins on the trunk of a tree, knurled and aged, with the branches too high to see. Someone, dressed in nylon shorts and a tank top, approaches the tree from stage left with a biblical stone tablet on their back, a set of gloves at their waist, and an "Up in Smoke" style 1/4 pounder joint in hand. They light up, and climb out of frame. The sound of a bell can be heard, and leaves begin to fall into frame while flesh on rubber and shoes on matting starts tentatively, then escalates in intensity. At about 35 seconds, what sounds like melon against concrete is heard, and the person, with joint still in teeth, many leaves, and half of the tablet tumble into frame. The contender lands joint first. A plume of smoke and embers consuming their crumbling form. A bell is heard. Scene.
