From past traumatic experiences I’ve learned to think of it like this. Through life shit happens, sometimes to us and sometimes because of us. Good and bad shit. Every couple years we look back and realize we were living compLETELY different life all together. For now, take advantage of what you can. Unfortunate and cutthroat as it is, this is a great way to get a scholarship. A compelling event to write an essay about. People will stop to listen because of its grim nature. This is the odd and frankly unfortunate reality of middle class life in our modern society. What I’m saying is: Be great full for all the extra empathy thrown at you. Even though it will become annoying. Use this to your advantage, it’ll push you far. To infinity and beyond
