I'm getting the sense from this game that whoever developed it, English is probably not their first language. Also, there are a few bits of dialogue that seem "off" both grammar wise and situational/context wise. Almost as if it was quickly or roughly translated from another language. They got the basic jist of the story and managed to keep it as not like the Disney version as possible (the original fairy tale and a lot of other fairy tales are public domain, not the Disney version; as long as nothing in it is close to the Disney movie, it's safe; that's also probably why they got rid of the mice, they never call it a glass slipper, and the fairy godmother is black). For what is basically a direct to DVD or PBS friendly fairy tale movie, they did fine.
