Sorry to get off topic but this is a show I watched with my mom and sister every night because that’s usually when they aired. The CDi was a fairly powerful console, surprisingly, 16M colours (with 32K on screen at one time), decent resolution, 8 channel ADPCM sound chip, a whole 1MB of RAM, all in 1991. Problem is, using that RAM and the CD format would be difficult, as a lot of optimization would be thrown out the window due to it being fucking 1991. And the controllers were honestly really shit. I'm still not 100% sure as to why it tanked so hard, barring the fact that manufacturers couldn't lose some money on the consoles because they didn't get royalties for sold software. That kept the prices high.

Maybe it's because the animation is just as simple as the illustrations in the book. Zelda's animation was much more simplistic in older games that there made and too create a much more complex design out of something that was once pixels will be quite a difficult task. I would imagine animating something like that would be harder to do than box cover art.

A bear market is a lengthy period of time when stock prices plummet along with investor confidence. A lot of investors may attempt to sell off their stocks in an attempt to mitigate losses, but that can further exacerbate the problem and lead to a cyclical downward spiral until someone tries to take advantage of the low prices and reinvest and eventually turn things around into what's called a "bull" market, or the opposite of a bear, but that can take quite a long time for someone to gain the confidence to do that (and if I remember correctly, the market has to drop by 20% or more for longer than 2 months or so before it's considered a bear market). The joke is that the stock market crash of 1929 October 24th (Black Thursday) and October 29th (Black Tuesday) allegedly caused a bunch of ruined brokers to jump from office buildings to their deaths. Stock Brokers apparently do have unusually high suicide rates as a profession, but having bodies rain from the sky in October of 1929 is somewhat of an urban legend, so far as I've ever been able to find out.
