I don't think that happened. I'd say it was more likely someone who knew it was a pile of shit, but they didn't care because they had a short amount of time and zero emotional investment and hoped that they would be able to get a job making something good later in their career. Most people in the real don't get to work on their passion, and certainly not straight away.

That last game at the end was legit though. My mom said that when she was growing up they had an outhouse, but it was on the edge of a cliff. They had oil lamps, so their lighting had a better radius but it was still dangerous because it wasn’t as bright. I took a trip a few years ago to visit friends who lived on the outskirts of a town, and trying to find their house from where we parked was just like that game. There are flashlights, now, where the mechanism is powered by shaking it. All you get is a circle of light right in front of you and everything else is pitch black. The light doesn’t even work unless you’re pointing it at the ground or something that’s like 6ft or less away from you. And more often than not there isn’t anything to cast your light on except the ground so it’s still just pitch black because there’s nothing out there.

I don't know if anyone has pointed it out yet but the cow game is basically, "Cow Pie Bingo" or a variant of that title. It is popular with volunteer organizations because it is relatively cheap to set up. You just need a big fenced in field, a cow, and a way to paint markings in the field. People buy tickets and buy a square and then the day of the event the cow is released into the field. The cow will naturally wander around in the field all day. Eventually the cow will drop a poop and whoever owns the square the cow poops in wins.

Ok so that cow thing is a legit game. The best way I could describe it is that its like Battle Ship? In real life, people place bets on a particular tile on the grid and then once betting is over, the cow is released into the small pasture and the cow eventually poops on a spot and whoever bet on the square that the cow pooped in wins money or whatever was wagered. Its something that can take 5 mins to an hour depending on what the cow ate and how bad it needs to drop a load... I wish I was kidding but this is real and I am ashamed to know what it is XD. *Like this so the grumps see and understand what they are doing!!!*

I hate myself for knowing this but the cow pie game was played at county fairs when I was younger. You purchase a yard of land that you have a marker on like in this game. Then they let a cow out into the area and wait until the cow takes a shit in one of the yard squares. Whoever yard it was in wins. You're right, its very dumb.

Every time they do one of these party minigame things, the same sort of problems come up. If nothing else, you can learn a lot about what not to do in this sort of game from these :P I think the biggest mistake they make (aside from being shit) is that they never know when to end the minigame. The really bad ones, like this, always seem to not just go a bit longer than they should, but like 2x/3x/4x longer than is reasonable so it wears out its welcome the very first time you play each game.
