They did. In the aliens vs predator 2 game from the early 2000s, the marines had a battle exo suit...and yes, it was armed to the teeth XD

I think this is done quite well for having the overhead view instead of the standard 1st or 3rd person view. Story is "typical" Aliens, but detailed and to the same standard we usually expect. Some nice twists in plot at the end too. Agree with others how these type of "movies" made from scenes of the video game can be as good, if not better than major Hollywood films. In video games there is "little" reduction of the violence keeping the movie "hardcore" and more relevant and even more accurate to movies we see today (not near as much political correctness I guess you could say. Which in itself is an "oxymoron"). Really liked the 2 main characters. Good contrast of personalities but still working together. Thanks for the video.

Cutscenes are pretty good. Some lines seemed abrupt and not natural. But geeze the combat really makes the aliens seem harmless. Exploding with acid right on top of everyone. Everyone is fine the whole time. Did t lose any marines. Don't think these devs watched the movies
