I gotta be honest, when I first started checking out the new MK stuff I laughed when I saw that they were going to have the daughters of Sonya, Jonny and Jax in there. Bringing in the kids usually sucks. But Netherrealm nailed it. Cassie is one of my favorites, it's like she combined the funloving nature of Johnny with the take no shit outlook of Sonya and rolled them into the queen of snark.

This makes me talk about another case of the maincharacters having kids is amazing. I once watched a cartoon and after a time skip one of the best characters had 2 children and fatherhood helped developing his character further sementing him as my favorite character of the show. His son is prettly likeable but his daughter is freaking amazing. I like her more then the acutal main character and the main character is pretty dam likeable but that family totaly stole the show and the relationship and dynamic of the father and the daughter is amazing. The ultimate combination of badassery, humor and wholesomeness.

I always felt MK vs DC could be cannon anyway; at least in the ORIGINAL time-line. I always thought it happened after the Earthrealm invasion, but before the events with Shinnok and helped explain how Quan Chi was able to gather all the heroes together for Shinnok's tournament. However it actually takes place after MK 2 before Shao Kahn's invasion, but that makes less sense to me. It's kind of like MK Special Forces happens BEFORE MK 1, but feels like it should happen during MK3 before MK4, but I digress.
