Yeah, it's still in my system so that says a lot... The AM4 mounting tho.... Bliss 😍

Ah, how interesting! I also use the i7-8700, but only now, in 2022, I ran into overheating in heavy tasks when I load the processor on 6 cores with HT. And the reason for this is not only weak cooling, but also 1.35 V, about which you said (TDP near 125Watt). And also, regardless of anything, I picked up this ICE CHILL for myself. And while waiting for the delivery of the online store, I came across this video! At first glance, you can see that an excellent choice for your money. Now I will look for your video with undervolting under 8700K)) Thanks, bro, great presentation. PS: can you give me a link to this video?

Amazing video man...it is very informative and entertaining to watch, I will definitely buy this AIO (the "strange" design of the fans caught my attention) greetings from Buenos Aires

He sounds like he's fae (from) Aberdeen like me and for that reason alone I subscribed - can you recommend this cooler on the AM5 7900, I currently use the Raith prism just like AMD does in their test labs, into PBO2 testing on my ASUS B650e-e rig at -35 along with AI overclocking and temps remains very good no thermal problems at all scoring 54000 plus on pass mark 11.1 all day long and 12400 on CPU-Z? Getting 27000 score from a Asus Dual 6750 XT card Also, a top SEO guy if you need help bro, another clue lol

I found a really weird version of this cooler called the tritonforce 240mm all in one liquid cooler. It seems to use the same OEM, but has an RGB Chinese dragon design on the pump block instead. It cools my 5600x running full pbo at 74c max during a cinebench loop. I got it for only 10 bucks from a guy local here in America (no mounting hardware) and had to order iceberg 240 mounting hardware off aliexpress and wait 3 weeks to even use it. I'm pretty happy with it considered how little I paid ($16 total including mounting hardware).

I'm actually kinda against using the pre installed AM4 mount, i think because it only applies most of the pressure in the middle of the CPU that some thermal solutions, especially Graphite pads, suffer a decrease in their cooling capabilities. This also goes for traditional aftermarket mounts if they so happen to not use any form of springs. My preferred mounting method is always a 4 spring loaded screw design even if it tends to be more complicated!
@F7GOS3 жыл бұрын
Good point, it would technically potentially perform better with a 4 spring screw arrangement. it's the old toss up between what my brain knows is "better" and the actual real world performance deficit. will be interesting to take it off though in a month or so to check out the paste spread. what I can say is that thermally, all the sensors (both CCDs and all 12 individual core sensors etc) are returning results which are a lot closer together compared with some of the other 4 screw coolers I've used.

Any long term updates on this cooler? I been thinking of getting it but im scared the coolant will rot, evaporate, pump corroding or the aio leaking

@dazzio1872 жыл бұрын
Mine takes a minute or two to kick in and leads to temps of 100 degrees before it starts cooling. Is that normal?
@F7GOS2 жыл бұрын
Nope, should kick in as soon as the PC starts. Try swapping the PWM header you are using for the pump as it sound like it's not sending power at startup
@dazzio1872 жыл бұрын
@@F7GOS I seem to have sussed it by ramping up the fans response to lesser temps on both the CPU and system than what the normal setting was. Now it's working great. Thanks for responding

Dialects like Doric or even the Gaelic language Influence how English is spoken up here. That means we have a lot of words, phrases and pronunciations which will be different to down in England or in the US.
