I seriously hope for the remake part 2, that they introduce some kind of cult of crazed lunatics worshiping Sephiroth as the supreme being. You arrive in a city and have to do several missions as you discover this cult committing such horrifically unspeakable things that causes Cloud to lash out in a murderous frenzy, about to kill these madmen in cold blood as they have a sickening smile on their face, knowing their god would be pleased seeing Cloud driven to such despair, even if it costs them their lives. But then at the last second, Aerith manages to snap him out of it, reminding him that he's stronger than this. Would definitely add to the whole shtick how even though Sephiroth isn't there technically, he might as well be with people committing such unthinkable evil in his name.

Plus, the term "Advent" is used for the return of Christ, and seeing as this would be Sephiroth returning for the second time it could definitely be seen as a "Second Advent" like it's written in the AC version of One-Winged Angel.

I love sephiroth's theme it's a huge mix of terror and beauty, in the game he turns into an angel which is portrayed to be beautiful and powerful beings created by God to save humanity, but that power has fallen into the hands of something horrifying and disgusting. I absolutely love watching full orchestral performances of One Winged Angel because what makes it really special are picking out the orchestra members who are massive fans of FF7 just putting their entire soul into the performance! Be it the huge ear-to-ear grins of the musicians or the intense faces some choir members make like they're screaming out the lyrics or a conductor really getting into conducting the piece... it is just a euphoric moment of pure joy to see other people who love something as much as you do, go all out and having so much fun that the energy is consumed and amplified through the audience, and everyone is basking in this magical moment of adoration for this thing we all love, and it's truly beautiful. 💖

The crescendo at the end with everyone clapping in time, and all the instruments and the vocalists getting louder and louder is so awesome. It really brings the crazy feel to the piece that nobou was aiming for. This is very well done.

When i look at this musiciams, i don't only see them, but also the kids that grew up with FF7. Imagine being able to recreate one of the most difficult and evocative compositions which may have inspired these people to pursue an artistic career. Maybe i m too romantic, but i like to at least dream this.

It's a nice piece and definitely iconic, but... it's *definitely* not "one of the most difficult" compositions. Not even slightly close. ;) It's also heavily inspired by Carl Orff and not that groundbreakingly-original thing some people believe it is.

@@S4Luux well, i m total ignorant at music composition nor now how difficult this piece could be confronted with others :) I was looking at how young these musicians are and marvel in totally abstract way at how they could have discovered an artistic passion thanks to ost and themes. It s like when you see a drawing and an illustrator tells you how simple the result is easy to obtain :)
