Kind of annoys me that the sims team treated having gender neutral outfits as having the same as male cas. I remember when someone asked them about this on Twitter and they're response was to point out how several of the clothing items were also available for men and maybe it's just me but that's not the same thing. Don't get me wrong I like gender natural clothing but male sims do deserve their own CAS especially since they just LOVE to flood us with female only CAS. I just don't think this was the W the sims team wanted us to think it is.

Yup idk why but 90% of the male cc has like 15 layered shirts. And it's all just brown. Or ultra high fashion looking. The normal ass v-neck I wear every day? Nowhere to be found. And I still don't have a decent realistic hairstyle. Like there's a fucking mohawk but not a lightly ruffled shaved on the side hairstyle. Like Maxis do y'all go outside?

For me it's men's hairstyles. I don't know why, but there are honestly only 2 or 3 male hairs that I can stand to look at, and I use them over and over and over. I'd love some more diverse men's hairs!

The werewolves pack was very girly. Which was such a shame because this was the perfect pack to have male body hair and more rugged beards, male hands, masculine tattoos, more flannel clothing in various conditions, regular male jeans not tailored. I like men to look very masculine and like men. Not possibly metro. Not anything wrong with metro but if you want a manly rugged man for gameplay, ea just isn't delivering that

Yes, I'm a girl and I REALLY hate that when I want to make a male sims his clothes are tight, feminine or just flat out girl clothes. I can never make a male sims without him looking like a millenail at a pride parade. I don't know what it is with the sims but they've really gone downhill as far as the masculine clothing and I don't want to say that its political but.....

Swimming in the ground is a more general issue, but it only happend to me when my sim was swimming and i teleported them somewhere were there wasn't any water. (If you want to fix this you can "swim" to the water and just walk out normaly.)

Eventually the Sims 4 has got all of the glitches from the Sims 3. Thing they claimed would never happen, because of the loading screens. 😂😂 This particular glitch comes from the Sims 3 Isla paradiso.

I really like this pack, I've been having a lot of fun! My only issue is with how the werewolves look and sound. I think the Sims team could've found a nice balance between the cartoony pg friendly art style of the sims and a more scary look with the werewolves. Also, the howling. I would've LOVED if the howls didn't sound as.... human-y. It would've been so cool if they had enhanced the VA's howls somewhat and made them sound rougher. Idk, maybe the modders will come up with some cool stuff.

I’ve noticed there is an interaction with dogs as a werewolf but it’s not in the pie menu and only triggers if the dog is nearby. If you howl, any dogs near you will howl too. I’m not sure about cats yowling to the howl, cause I haven’t tested, but that’s about as far as it went with pet interactions. Which is a bummer because I would have LOVED werewolves being able to play with dogs the same way other pets do with all the little jumps, playfully chase them around, sniff them, or even play tug of war with them, I mean how cute would that have been?

I mean, if you howl when other werewolves are nearby then the others will pretty much always howl back. It doesn't even matter what their relationship to you is. I've fought Greg three times, because the lonewolf werewolf aspiration (or whatever it's actually called in English. I play in Swedish where it's called "lonewolf") requires you to win a fight with Greg which I have, and he still howls if I do.

If your werewolf sleeps on the ground and has a dog, then the dog will go to sleep next to them. It looks very cute. I have a screenshot of my werewolf's puppy sleeping between his arms.

A few of the CAS items would work decently well as "dark academia" rather than grunge. I don't mind the grunge items being unisex though, this style is often used by both genders. A few longish masculine hairs would do nicely though.

Honestly the biggest appeal to me is build/buy and torn clothes because everything in the sims looks so clean/perfect which is unrealistic. I also have basegame and cc/mods. I really appreciate the graphs in this review.

It’s the same system they used for pets, so basically they programmed it to color fur and they had to do almost nothing to implement it because it was already there. Same with the occult leveling system since it’s basically identical to vampires, which I’m fine with, but there you go.

I really enjoyed this pack. It feels better than he high school expansion pack which costs a lot more - it’s got more of an atmosphere and a levelling system for the werewolves is a lot of fun. Only problem I’ve had is in the last few days when I load the game my werewolf sim loses all their abilities and points so I have to cheat them back, but that also might be a side effect issue with the other bugs after that awful last patch which aged sims up randomly because it didn’t happen before.

If you have cottage living you can get your werewolf to fight a wild fox and it’s cursed af. The fox grows dangly limbs and the animation that plays is when two werewolves fight each other. It’s wild but hilarious. 😂 Also if you have Paranormal installed the werewolves can eat the cursed objects that show up in a haunted house. And the specters too for some reason.

My problems with the pack (my hopes were set quite low) Was when the gameplay AS a werewolf started to dictate how I played, for example vampires you have to CHOOSE your weaknesses, you choose how you build your character and how you play. With werewolves they give you temperments that suddenly mean you have to play around those, sure you can change them once you hit max rank. However it was just so annoying to be a sim who was an author but suddenly hated being inside and would lose control and transform whenever trying to write a book. They gave them some nice interactions. (Go hunt for food, lick yourself clean, sleep anywhere) But those could be done out of form (since the wolf look was kinda eh?) Idk so many people are saying it could be the best occult but personally I'd rank it at the lowest for me, Vampires - Spellcasters THEN wolves.

Same! I was so disappointed, nothing is exciting in this pack, like they could have put a pack system, nope you gotta take the two ass bean pack offer. Also, a territory system where you would have with your pack to mark your territory and defend it against other werewolves would have been so could. A indirect way to kill sims also would have been great since the other two occults have plenty of indirect way to kill, either by emotions or fire. Also, you can wash out werebies?? I think this should not be a choice just like vampire cant wash their vampirism or sweat it out or whatever, too many options where you should not have and too little where you should have, like when it comes to temperaments... with the lunar howl, it could have been cool to choose yourself which one you want or randomize... Mark territory, sleeping on the ground, hunting and grooming yourselves should have been giving and no perks... does vampire have to get a perk to compel for drink or to die under the sun?? I would have wish a weakness features as well where you can choose them just like vampire so you don't have to choice to pick some, but have the choice of which one you will pick. Also, rampaging werewolves in ''no autonomy mode'' do not do anything... I know I want to control everything from my sims, but if I purchase a werewolves pack, its because I am ready even in no autonomy to have rampaging beast turning chaos around them, not looking angry and doing absolutely nothing like??? A skill of Lycanthropy would have been great with proper old tomes like vampire and spellcaster, but no we got modern ass looking book, on top of that a million books you have to find... to find specific info, instead of being earned through skill level, much more satisfying, cause yep there is lore, but lore is non value replay and honestly, I don't like the lore they created with spellcasters... like since how you are believing spellcaster are the one who created werewolves... that would have been so much better if they took real werewolves folklore and make it more like a strange disease, like vampirism... To me they fuck it up real hard. Greg is not that much scary... but I do appreciate is Hyena resemblance because in real world werewolves stories from France, people seeing a beast in the wood, described with stripes and dots on them, (like some type of Hyena) suggested that the beast of Gévaudan was an actual Hyena or Lion, which is also where the legend of werewolves being weakened by silver or kill by it comes from, if someone is interested in looking into it... lots of info and good looking video on youtube explaining the beast of Gevaudan, which was believe also as a werewolf.

i had just bought this pack but i genuinly hate the furry look, so i had a lot of fun making a grungy mermaid in sulani. her home has the pier perfection shell, buf its almost exclusively werewolves pack inside. its a nice dichotomy which gave my girl a lot of character. just based on cas and bb alone, this pack was a must for me

Ill start and say that I really love playing with occults, and overall they usually do them justice in the sims 4, my favorite still being vampire, cause I don't think the sims team will ever make better and well balance pack. I enjoy spellcasters as well. Werewolves on the other hand imo haven't been work enough, just because you put ability to piss on the ground or sleep like a dog outside, does not make the perk tree better, those basic need filler takes 5 spots on the tree, meanwhile it should have been giving as basic perks, not earned if you know what I mean (its just like if your vampire needed a perk to compel for drink and another one to burn under the sun lol). Also, our vampires and spellcaster have ways to induce moods and make people flirty around them etc... there is no such power for werewolves, which make sense, but since dying of fear does not exist in game, our werewolves are basically harmless to sims. Lets say for example you want to kill sims with the other occults, you can, not directly, but you can, while spellcaster can create fire the the feet of a sim and make them burn to death or vampire creating strong emotional aura around them, you can that way induce death by laughter or rage. You can even turn another sim into a vampire and let him die in the sun, which give so much possibilities in terms of storytelling and gameplay. Also, the strength of our werewolf compare to other even with the Alpha perk, does not seems to change much, apparently knowledge in the books make your werewolves much stronger or perhaps the lunar fish, random and weird. Its seems really random while vampires had their perks with 3 levels and also were gage with the fitness of your vampire... The two packs are ok, but really it should have been a similar functionality of the clubs where you can create as much as you want etc... Also, in vampire, we have gameplay for non occult sims, like they can learn the vampire skill and learn the recipe to cure vampirism, which then turn them into vampire hunter. I wish we had something like that for werewolves, I mean you can always search in the werewolves books, but I love better how it was handle in vampire. Also, I know the community asked for lore, but really I could not care less about the lore I read in this pack, it was boring and not interesting at all imo. Vampire had pop up giving you knowledge you learned reading the book and make it more user friendly and clear to the point, not like the long ass text you have to read through... I don't know, its was not well done imo. If I was in the dev team I would have put less effort in lore, that is btw non replay value, compare to what we could have had, like a proper tool to create your own pack and a territory system, that applies to all worlds, like the pollution system, and where you would have to protect it or mark it and conquer it, so it could have been a crazy awesome feature where you actually can play forever and story building, right now, the pack are boring to me, nothing to do really except being a werewolves cool or tamed lol. If I had done it, I would also make sure there is a way indirectly to kill sims may be with emotions, and also make sure there are a hunt the werewolves gameplay for non occult sims, so you can take the fork and try to cure werewolves/kill them. Really that was the basic of a werewolves pack, but they did the very minimum and put lore just to shut up the crazies out there that want it, and unfortunately we end up with a boring game pack. Also, I like the esthetic of the werewolves and tools to personalize them, but the CAS, well done, but again, same opinion than Sachtonsims, the neutral clothes are off to me, I would have prefer clear differences and god them clothes for male, cause werewolves scream guy to me, despise not having much options very much masculine. I know body hair came after with High School, but really they should have patch later proper body hair for our furry, like bear type body hair for sims, so we can make full on masculine sims lol but I guess we have to satisfy ourselves with the very tamed version from base game and High School. I wish the werewolves getting into their fury rage would do automatically damage to the house or attack people even in no autonomy setting, because I like controlling my sims, but I was there for the fury of werewolves to unleash and I found out that nothing, absolutely nothing happen... Another thing I don't like is that you can sweat the werebies or wash it out or order a cure lol boring... how about having no choices but to turn and then cure it... this is not exciting. Those are all the reasons why I think werewolves are my least favorite occults with a designated pack in the sims 4, it could have been so much better with so much more gameplay, but they put to much effort in lore imo... which is one time deal and not at all entertaining, without talking about the tunnels things, which is exclusive to Moonwood mill. Another thing that annoyed me is the band aids after a fight... I mean I like the scratches and paw print limit, but the band aids look really bad and out of place (over stretched etc..). Another gameplay feature, I would have make it possible to dig in the mountain to find silver in order to create a cure. The temperaments are ok, but random, I don't think all of the one I got fit my guy... I wish we could have choose them through the lunar howl and perhaps unlock the best through gameplay but again... so we can customize our werewolf to a next level. I know there are stray dogs in the world, but actual wolves would have been crazy, with a lot challenge, where the wolves come and try to steal your garbage and make a mess around your house.

I found that spellcasters appear more likely accept werewolf sims with “ sympathize with werewolf nature” social interaction than regular sims.

I bought this pack and I do like it however it is lacking I wish we could create your own pack the making an all wolf club is fun but like you said it would be nice to have more wolf activities I ended making an evil werewolf that would go out and turn random townies into werewolves and then added them to my “pack” 😂

I think eyebrows make them furry looking and it does annoy me that I take eyebrows off the werewolf when they are unlinked, but link them again for evolving muscle development and have to occasionally rinse and repeat because eyebrows keep showing up over time.

I HATE that the body sliders are locked in werewolf form, like I wanted to make a petit sim that became a giant beast wolf when transforming, and I couldn't, it's so stupid, like why can't they transform into a bigger wolf??? Also I'm not a very creative person, but I love some of the werewolfs that other people have designed, why can't I save their coats and put it on my sim? Of course that doesn't really surprise me much since TS4 is horrible when it comes to simple quality of life stuff. Like the fact that you can't change a human sim to an occult in CAS I can't even begin to express how many times I've wanted to make one of the sims I've made previously an occult when I add them to a new save. So annoying

Seeing how some stuff in the Werewolves pack is really detailed and other stuff seems thrown in or entirely missing, the Sims devs likely _wanted_ to put more of the things you mention in but their EA overlords said _No you could make that into a kit or something._ Some billionaire please buy the Sims franchise off of EA's death grip, PLEASE

As a furry, I can safely say that werewolf stuff and furry stuff are very distinct, even if there's occasionally overlap in design, which isn't the case in the sims, as you can't give hairstyles, gloves, shoes, etc, to the werewolf forms. If it *WAS* furry, then it'd basically just be either a remodeled alien, or the same except the werewolves would be vastly more customizable. I heard there's a furry mod, but considering how to a furry this pack is kinda lackluster in CAS, I don't even know if many people care for a crossplay patch or addon. Furgonomics is basically where something would be designed for anthro use, (whether it has accessibility for differently shaped species or just pants with a tail latch,) and this pack had the potential. It squandered it. If I could confidently follow instructions, I'd download the furry mod, but since I have issues with those, I'll just stick to wishing I had more packs so I could design my character like a force user, and/or Five from the Umbrella Academy show, and/or John Constantine. Quick question, can sims use sabers and droids outside of the Star Wars area?

I have a feeling EA is feminising male sims, which makes me uncomfortable. Like sure, it's okay to have options. But the majority of men do not want to look feminine, especially considering the Sims 4 is played outside the US also (and outside the US the majority of men want to look masculine). But despite this, we see more and more feminising of male sims. I wish they would stop doing this.

When you’re 1st sim dies you must due the aspiration again 5. if you die before you complete your aspiration that doesn’t count as a point 6. Gen 1 smelly or melly grilled cheese this sim is kind of a fat slob hints the name of the sim 7. Gen 1 must complete the grilled cheese aspersion and they must have a kid which’s name is perfect or prime grilled cheese 8. Gen 2 must complete grilled cheese aspersion this sims life goal is to make the perfect grilled cheese using science this sim is very smart this sim is not lazy and wants many kids to test grilled cheeses on thus having 5 kids gen 2 must have doctor or scientist or astronaut career 9. Gen 3 must again complete grilled cheese aspersion this sims name is Cheeto or hotly grilled cheese and this sim is a cheater they are very romantic and have 7 kids with different fathers this sim is not committal 10. Gen 4 must COnPLeTE GRILLED FuCking chEese ASpErsioN this sims name is dusty grilled cheese cause their mom/dad was so busy that dusty felt dusty and forgotten and went rogue this sim is insane and thinks grilled cheese is a god which is probably true (if you have the extreme violence mod you must kill 3 sims with grilled cheese) you must have 2 kids and be independent as a toddler 11. What do you name the extra grilled cheese kids you ask what ever your little grilled cheese heart desires I answer 12. Gen 5 must again complete grilled cheese aspersion there name is cheesy grilled cheese cheesy is funny out going awkward and loves photos this sim could also like parties this sim must have entertainment career for this sim have as many kids as you want however you must have at least 1 kid and if you have mc command center you must play with risky woohoo on 75% this sim is obviously cheesy 13.
