I see sims having like 20 kids and I never see any of them walking around. The stories are cold and dense and it’s so annoying and boring there’s no creativity! Sims 1-3: creative playable and entertaining Sims 4: cold dense money grubby and boring We need more base game content not packs

I am late, and that’s ok, I put off buying it, cuz I wanted to avoid the glitches, however, this game has 80 dlc’s… they keep releasing without repairing. As consumers, and gamers, WHY do we keep buying? We always have hope, but the reality is disappointment… I found,that I did allot of… why? The festivals are not festivals… i just wanted more out of something that could have been way more interesting than what we got.

As an American, I've never met anyone who lives in a trailer with visible wheels. Most people have either siding boards to cover up any wheels/stands or use a latice. Unless it's meant to be mobile, in which case everyone I know calls it a camper. 😂

as a PC player, the reason i don't use a lot of mods/cc is because i have a slow internet connection and sims updates already keep me from being able to play for a week at a time every few months. if i had to update mods and cc i would never get to play again. if they will ever stop beating this dead horse that is the sims 4 maybe one day i'll be able to play with mods/cc

You can edit things existing in people's places by going up to them and using the "Give Stuff" option, but instead of giving stuff, you take stuff. Edit: Oh, you figured it out.

tbh i miss boarding school like they had in sims 3. it was nice to offload a kid for like 10 days while they earned skills

I never really played the Sims 1 and 2 to play live mode, I always enjoyed the building and furnishing houses and community lots. Even though the Sims 4 (with all the packs at least) seems to have the best build mode, I just don't care enough about the worlds to want to customise them knowing that I'll never bother to play with those lots. Every now and then I'd get bored of building and decide to explore the world I'd been making in Sims 1 or 2 and that's when I'd make some sims to populate it. Even though i never spenr much time with those sims, the world felt alive and reactive and it was satisfying to build in. Now it just feels like I'm building the same 6 houses over and over again. It's hard to say exactly why that is, but the points you make in this video explain it well!

You really nailed the many many problems with the sims 4 and it's packs. The last couple of packs seem like a step in the right direction in that they actually mostly work but it seems like they've chosen that at the expense of including a reasonable amount of content.

Why do we have to do tall wall heights and do the basement tricks? Just.. make a second level and do that... no hacks needed...

The windows as fencing are a new idea to me but boy, as if I didn’t already have tough time deciding which fences to use 😂 I will have to spend some time test building and playing with this to get an idea of what’s possible to build with what window and how it will look, like a little fencing session before I actually build anything. So many options! The mirrors into wardrobes are also mindblowing 🙏🏻

I'm on the same loop with Sims 4. I build a house, make a cool character, get a job, buy a few things, maybe to a trip or one of the fancy features, done within 3 days and just stop playing for 12 months.

I just started playing sims 4 a couple weeks ago (at most), even though I've owned it quite awhile. I've been finding inspiration in the shell challenges, but have also created a few of my own (not many yet!). I am finding myself trying to do builds with just the main game (Though I own a few other things - not many, though!) and I found your attic and sunroof ingenious. Your underground/sunken tips is what hooked me, though. Thanks so much for sharing these ideas!

Lol. Yes, The Sims 4 DOES lag, just differently. Its simulation lags most of the time. You know that time when the game runs smooth but your sims stand idle for tens or hour+ in game time? In TS3 they rarely do that, they either throw tantrum with no access head bubble or your game lagging so badly (and nraas errortrap reset that sim afterward)
