Some bonus facts about the engines on STS-96 & STS-101: (note that these are described as if looking directly at the rear of the shuttle) STS-96: The top (E2047) was the first RS-25C to ever fly. It ultimately flew 16 times and will fly again on the Artemis 2 core stage. The left (E2051) was on it's 1st flight, flew 9 times and will fly on the Artemis 4 mission. The right (E2049) was also on it's 1st flight, flew 7 times and was ultimately lost in the Columbia disaster. STS-101: The top (E2043) was on it's 5th flight and flew 8 missions before being retired. The left (E2054) was on it's first flight, flew 10 times and will fly again on Artemis 3. The right (E2049) (also flew STS-96) now on it's third flight.
