Alright! Who's looking forward to The Lord of The Rings Prequel Series by Amazon set within The Age of Númenor ( The Second Age ). The first time I´ve watched the Hobbit, the sudden ending caught me off-guard, like probably most of other people. At first, I was angry because I´ve had to wait way more time to see the actual ending. Yet, it was well worth it. Many people hate the fact that PJ made 3 movies instead of one, but I´m glad he gave us three times the amount of epicness, instead of just one! I know many people will be angry at me because of this comment, but I don´t care. Long live the Hobbit trilogy!!!
@jacobsummers34419 жыл бұрын
i like it better in a trilogy too. sure there were a lot of "filler" like things to add length to the movie, but it wasnt so bad. if you put it all in a single movie, there are things that we will not be able to feel. that great feeling when you fall inlove with the characters, the impact of thorin having dragon sickness trusts only bilbo, legolas' unrequited love, thorin dying while the birds came and many more. the emotions cant fit with one movie.
@guicaldo71649 жыл бұрын
yamada San Exactly! Glad to find someone else who´s also glad it was a trilogy!
@gracelast54879 жыл бұрын
+Gui Caldo I just loved going back to middle earth and I think PJ just knows how to capture that feeling. and altough I think the lotr trilogy is like another league I still really like and enjoy the hobbit trilogy. it's a diffrent story shot in a diffrent time of course it's going to be different but as long as I have the feeling of coming home into that world I love, I don't care.
@inotaishu19 жыл бұрын
+yamada San I think what many people forget or ignore is that the book has probably even more in it happening than the movies, it is simply that Tolkien did not spend much words on it respectively in some cases only stated that Bilbo had many more adventures.
@guicaldo71649 жыл бұрын
inotaishu1 And that´s what I didn´t like about Lord of the Rings, and Hobbit, and old adventure books as a whole: There´s little to no descritpion of the events in it. They rather describe the appearence of every single place they go, or every single step of their journey, but just get over the danger situations or other interesting scenes in a rush, or skip them completely.
@vizd77965 жыл бұрын
Thorin Oakenshield started the fight with Bilbo's aid and Aragorn ended it with Frodo's aid.. Gandalf protected all of them.
@mnomadvfx3 жыл бұрын
No, Gandalf started it all.* Without his meddling the dwarves would not have cause Sauron to move early, and the ring would not have taken its chance to leave Gollum after decades to centuries within those tunnels. Also it was Frodo that ended it, not Aragorn - and even then only after Gollum stopped him from outright blowing the whole thing by putting the ring on right under Sauron's nose! *you could make the argument that Isildur started it with his weakness, and Elrond compounded it with his unwillingness to rush Isildur and chuck it in himself.

M. - Sophie Franke Yes. I feel the same due to the fact that Mr. Tolkien wrote intensively LOTR, more detailed, so the LOTR series had more to work with. Whereas, The Hobbit is based on a childrens' book, which has very little detail to work with. Though many who read the books thoroughly would state that there were plenty to work with, such as the eagles talking and such. Anyways, thank you for your response.

That would be wonderful. But it would really suck if they made it 16 miles across like they did Skyrim. The game was good and all, but Middle Earth deserves WAY more than that. Zachary Hunter Pssst, guys, did you hear about this game called WoW?
@zh978211 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have. But WoW isn't Middle Earth. It's Kalimdor, the Eastern Kingdoms, and Pandaria. And it's chuck-full of cities, factories, auction houses, and giant structures. That's all well and good, it's a fantastic game; but that's not Middle Earth. Tolkien's world has a more natural beauty, rather than the fires of industry like WoW. Middle Earth is a bit more untouched by mortals. I've got nothing against WoW, but it would be an injustice to put the two in the same league.
@sslivkov11 жыл бұрын
Zachary Hunter indeed it is, just saying it's the closest you can come to from existing games ;)
@zh978211 жыл бұрын
That would be a very valid statement, good sir. WoW has got a humongous open world. Just still wairing for that realistic Middle Earth. I don't think gaming companies realize how much they could bank on a game like this!

No matter how many times I listen to this, I still get goosebumps. I always imagine a group of about 20+ people in a random talent show, giving a mesmerizing performance of this song; which I've imagined all in vivid detail. It's a shame I don't have the talent to pull it off -_-

Yes, the Lord of the Rings is three parts, the Hobbit is one book! It sounded like he thought the Hobbit was three books as well, that's all :)

Eddard Stark Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North i think you completely misunderstood my words, LOTR is indeed the greatest film of all, since the director is the same. but why you people always compare this to LOTR? dont be that idiot.

Cea mai tare melodie de pe fundalul unui film! Nu stiu parca te atrage si nu te mai poti dezlipi de ea. Ai vrea sa o asculti incontinuu!
