AAA Games: no VOIP cus it's toxic Battlebit: immersion go BRRRR* And all it needs was players participation
@KingKaleb7711 ай бұрын
The community and voip really makes this already great game a masterpiece. Between players screaming in pain for a medic when they’re downed, asking teammates to tell their families they love them before breaching a building and getting killed, and so many other memorable voice chat moments. There’s a roleplay aspect that I’ve never really seen in any other big fps game. Battlefield players are mostly silent and call of duty players are just needlessly toxic. It’s a very refreshing experience as a whole

1. I love those little moments where you're, say, riding to battle in a Black Hawk and some guy just starts blasting Vietnam-era music via Speaker 2. Play BF 2, 2142, 3, Hardline, or 4. The last of the old-school players who talk a lot have pulled back from modern installments, instead they populate older BFs.
@davideduardo909211 ай бұрын
I never valued the roleplaying aspect of a videogame until I bumped into this guy on Battlefield 1. He was the squad leader and acted as one: calling out sniper positions and telling us to take cover, taking notice of allies who were down and needed to be revived, directing us to provide suppressive or covering fire. If anything, it motivated me to do better. That was the most intense match of Operations I ever had and I will never forget it.

The thing that BattleBit has is just a small feature that allows you to customize each class. The helmet and chest choices can affect your gameplay, providing more armor or giving you additional ammo. However, each equipment also has its downside. This has been my wish ever since Battlefield 4 was released, and I'm glad that BattleBit has considered implementing this feature. I hope that in the future, they will add even more equipment options.

It was supposed to be a milsim game and the roadmap has a milsim gamemode in plan so the reloading and other milsim elements are both leftovers and intended to stay. After a little practice you will be very accurate at knowing how much shots you have left in the mag just from the icon on the bottom right. Urges a little more tactical approach to your ammo management than just raw numbers, imo.

My favorite thing about this game (from what I've seen) is that every player gets to choose how seriously they want to take it. If you want to go full milsim and have a completely realistic (aside from the graphics lol), tactical experience, the game gives you all the tools for that. But if you want to scream in voice chat all game, ride around in vehicles, and bottom frag every game while having a good time with your new squadmates, the game is designed for that too. Nobody cares about winning or losing in this game because they're just having too much fun to care. I've been an Overwatch player for years, but I always hated how the game just wasn't fun if you were losing. I'm definitely switching over to this game as soon as I have some money to spare for it.

Have to say really enjoying the game and I quite like the reload mechanic its realistic and makes you aware of every bullet you're shooting. The rezing is brilliant and most people will help you up . Hear the devs saying they might change it as its a bit OP for the medic hope they don't change it too much.
@Pentence11 ай бұрын
On the magazine mechanics I hope they keep that in for every Game mode. I know eventually they're gonna have a hardcore and more casual modes being separate however having a more realistic approach to magazine changes slows down combat just a tad bit. This in turn cascades into several other interactions changing. It prevents the reload after every shot mindset, encounters become more dynamic etc. The fact that it's a mechanic that subtly makes so many other changes which are SO subconscious you don't even realize they are occurring marks it as a great mechanic that is part of the games better experience.

I'm honestly a big fan of the whole ammo system and I appreciate that it's not as arcady as Battlefield. Especially having to use the Secondary due to frequently running out of ammo adds a lot of cool moments for me. I've only played Night Gameplay in 32v32 and it was an awesome experience as well.

I've been playing battlefield field since PS2 and for me personally, things have never really felt like battlefield since battlefield 3. Bad company 2 was my bread and butter and the series has steadily declined since bf3, this gives me some hope for the future of a genre that has been let down time and time again. These guys have nothing but respect from me and I hope they can pick up where EA dropped the ball so fantastically.

I started in BF2 as well, but I have to disagree. BF4 was every bit as amazing as its predecessors. Every time a new Battlefield came out and people disliked it, there would be a mass exodus back to BF4. Even 10 years later it still consistently has over 1000 players daiky. BC2 is probably my favourite as well (rest in peace...) but BF3 and BF4 were still absolutely amazing.

There is something you left out of the video. The developers have said that every single update they do to the game, whether it's new vehicles, weapons, maps, or entire expansions, will be entirely free for anyone who has purchased the game. 15 dollars is all you will ever have to put into this game to get all the content, and they have said that they are planning to update this game with content for a very long time.

modern guns use magazines, not clips... unless you are shooting an SKS or an M1 Garand, there is very little chance that you are using a clip fed firearm. Revolvers use cylinders, and some guns use belts, shotguns use a tube, and single shot weapons just have a chamber. Everything else uses a magazine.
@mondaymurder2311 ай бұрын
dumb some places call it a Mag or a clip it doesn't matter what gun it is, just look up a banana clip you should already know what gun comes with.
@jormungand7211 ай бұрын
@@mondaymurder23 just because some gangsters call their extendos a "banana clip" does not mean that they are correct... you can also call a Beta-C a "tit mag"... or a p-mag a "poo-mag". A clip is internal, a magazine is external.

BattleBit isn't battlefield. It just mixes the best of all fps titles. The gunplay of insurgency sandstorm, the movement and gun progression of cod, the milsim features of arma and squad, and the destruction and player counts of battlefield. BattleBit just brought all these ingredients together and cooked us gamers a wonderful meal. Plus it's cheap!

I think the problem with most multiplayer FPS is the competitive factor that is still sticking around a little while. Most of us know that it’s changing because of the money problems with competitive leagues. I do think most of those left over projects are almost down and released. BioWare for example dropped all multiplayer games to solely focus on single player games. Plus the thunder being controlled by more and more indi and third party groups is being noticed by the “AAA.”

I think the reload makes sense. From a sim like game before it became battle bits, it's more realistic. If you reload a mag that still has ammo in it. Then it's a waste of ammo and you have to add the remaining bullets in a different mag.
@codingcaderikor11 ай бұрын
I don't even understand why people think its gimmyicy its makes 100% sense ammo should not be a floating number! This just make sense its fine for a casual game in fact I prefer a bit more of a realistic ammo count then made op mags and numbers that always trow me off and made me go to arma or squad but then you face extreme hardcore elements you may not in the mood for. I hope they never change ammo count.

Seriously the gaming industry NEEDS more back to basic fun first money second mentality. Just like in life money takes care of itself AFTER you get good at your craft and not one second sooner. Love this stuff. Now if we could just get some more single player games, fun first mentality again, it'd be wonderful
@DivinityOfBLaze11 ай бұрын
Sadly fun first wont happen. The issue is that games are now so expensive to make with hundreds of millions for development that they focus test the shit out of them until they're basically mush. A good chunk of the industry just focuses on safe since a failure is insanely costly. Hence why 3 dudes can easily make an amazing game since the costs are low. IMHO the main problem with the game industry as it stands is the focus on AAA. In ye olde days we had a metric ton of AA games. If anything that was the majority of stuff that ended up as massive series. But now big publishers just avoid AA like the plague and are trying to go full AAAA which is just... silly? Theres no flexibility or experimentation anymore. The indies are here for us and that's it.
@videozoom1211 ай бұрын
@@DivinityOfBLaze I wish I could disagree with you but you're absolutely right on costs but again, if something is truly fun it WILL sell. I do agree what happens in the triple A factories is they get so deep into the minutiae it looses what makes things fun. I would also argue that games spend way too much time on graphics instead of mechanics and good story. Just like when idiots buy cars I think most people value what looks pretty vs what's under the hood so consumers are to blame as well.
@DivinityOfBLaze11 ай бұрын
@@videozoom12 Graphics are a very easy to sell thing. Granted, and this is coming from an amateur game dev as I make some stuff in unity. Graphics arent difficult to make. Or rather, its not related to coding. Graphics guy has nothing to do with the graphics. And if they have any good organization, which big studios do simply due to team size, they probably got a decent team of coders working for supporting the graphical side of things. Stuff that effects GPU not CPU. Which is to say: Graphics really wouldnt come at the cost of mechanics or fun. Its just that they dont focus on fun to begin with. Its why niche products find massive success because the niche is basically untouched. Think Paradox with CK3, Hoi4, Cities Skylines (Speaking of EA, Sim City. They killed it and Cities Skylines makes BANK).

For alittle while now Battlefield 2042 plays great, its the closest to BC2/BF3 for a BF game in awhile. And Portal mode gives you access to Arica Harbor, Noshahr Canals and Caspian Border. 128 player war sim on Arica Harbor is insane.
