It’s been an absolute W week for CDPR: surprise Cyberpunk 2077 update no one asked for yet brings some cool changes to a 4 year old game and the reveal of Witcher 4. I’m really happy for those devs and hope they’re feeling good and partying hard this weekend

Tbh I didn't like the Witcher 4 teaser. Not due to anything in it, but I hate being told about games that aren't going to be released for years. Same reason why Bethesda shouldn't have released the Elder Scrolls 6 teaser.

I like having the cinematic announcement trailers, they set the tone for the game quite well. The Elder Scrolls 6 announcement trailer was quite ridiculous. But to be fair, they only showed some landscape and a working title, so it was barely a teaser. I like how Rockstar handled GTA VI, since they only announced in 2022 with a written statement

As a huge Hyper Light Drifter fan, I’m beyond disappointed with what I’ve seen from Hyper Light Breaker. Drifter was a great homage to older games while still being unique. Breaker just looks like a game that is following most current trends. Nothing early access can fix. It’s a shame they abandoned what got them their fans.

@@chrisdoran3673 I do highly recommend Cyberpunk for that reason too. They totally fixed it and it has characters you really get attached to. It's also so emersive with the interactions and body movements. Puts all other games to shame in that regard.

@@GhostofWritersPast outer wild is best when going in blind the fact you know there's puzzles means you already know too much lol but if all you know about the game is that there's puzzles then you should 100% give it try as long as you haven't had the story spoiled for you yet, personally i wasn't a fan of the dlc but the base game is great

TGAwards 2024 was better TV than many Oscar shows I've seen. The LED set designs by Leroy Bennett stole many, many scenes. The use of Muppets Statle and Waldorf was an excellent, snarky counter-point to all the hoopla. Congrats to all who put the night together 🤠
