The studio that made it folded shortly after it was released and fans never expected to get a proper sequel (Okamiden technically counts but it wasn't really the sequel everyone wanted). It's a beloved cult classic.

What if Zelda was based on ancient mythology, had platinum combat, and the item equivalents not being mostly abandoned after their origin dungeon. Also beautiful brush stroke art style meant to evoke the feel that every screen is a painting, with magnificent musical score to match. Also likely to be multiplatform.

​@@dampking It looks fantastic. It looks like it's inspired by the past games plus the comic lore, and it looks like we're going to get some explanation to what being a Turok actually means. Plus, it is a way to prove that you don't have to steal other characters to get representation in video games because the protagonists have always been Native Americans. And what really seals the deal for me is the weapon that picks up a dinosaur and slams it, plus the Triceratops boss fight because Turok has always been known for it's big boss battles and crazy weaponry. That said, I really enjoy the lore of these games and the Turok 2 Remaster is probably one of my top 10 games that have come out in the past 10 years, so I'm extremely biased towards the franchise.

I actually found myself a bit shocked from the show. Definitely one of the better ones we've had as of late. Hopefully this will continue into next year as well considering the good sum of reveals we got for this show. So excited for Project Century. I love me some RGG, and I love to see them step out of their normal environments and modern era focus....and going for 1915 is perfect! Ripe for telling new plots in a way many of us won't expect because the 1910's are not often used in games like this, atoeast the ones I've played. Being right in the middle of WW1, I imagine we'll get a look at the vibe of a mid-War Japan and how things are going for the civvies back home. Absolutely stellar vibe, clearly trying to stay true to the gameplay type ppl expect from them, while trying to break their boyndary a bit. As someone who's favorite series is Yakuza/LaD, I do truly hope this is a gebuinely new IP. But hell, atleaat based on the little combat we saw, we can assume the protaganist this timr has little qualms about eviserating ppl, which will be a nice change. I love Kiryu and gang, but I'd love to play as someine a bitm...dirtier.

Man, the witcher trailer was so freaking good. And I love how they showed with Ciri thinking she saved the girl it actually killed her, showing how your choices truly have unexpected consequences. A couple of the game devs have been doing interviews, definitely watch those, they've been giving some really good info about combat and the world.

You certainly wouldn’t have things like Empress Ciri as an option in Witcher 3 if it were truly book accurate. She wouldn’t go anywhere near Emhyr if he was 100% book accurate. It’s all set after the books so they can play with a new witcher school and new mutations however they wish without completely destroying the lore and characters like the Netflix show does. And Ciri as the protagonist just makes sense with the start of her new era as a witcher in the best ending.
