The haast eagle isn’t extinct in the wild. It’s fully extinct. Has been for over 500 years. All the birds OP mentioned are still technically alive, but only in captivity.

Maybe do a recently extinct DLC. Like species were dna can be retrieved to bring back the species. Haast eagle, Tasmanian tiger, dodo, etc. like species that can be brought back using new DNA technology

Just recently went to Bali Zoo in Indonesia where they had an aviary. It had iguana, tortoise, mouse deer, ring tailed lemur, macaw and other parrot species, along with giant fruit bats flying around, all in the same habitat. I’ve never seen anything like it, and although incredibly unlikely, I’d absolutely love to recreate it in Planet Zoo!

I choose the andean condor, the bald eagle, the snowy owl, the barn owl, the peregrine falcon, the rhinoceros hornbill, the toco toucan, the scarlet macaw, the blue and yellow macaw, Hyacinth macaw, military macaw, and the suliphr crested cockatoo

If some of these birds can’t fly well like the tinamous and the galliforms, I think that they can be treated like the flamingos and ostriches in the game. Any bird that primarily stays grounded I think doesn’t have to live in an aviary.

God I want this, so much. SO MUCH!! In recent years I have become more fascinated with birds over the years. It's mainly because they're dinosaurs, but the fact they're such a unique group of animals, technically reptiles, but amazing in their own right. They traded the aweinspiring size of the dinosaurs for the aweinspiring ability of flight, with manouverability and speed in the air. It's almost like Dinosaurs will always evolve to bring awe to humans.

I don’t think that kea are too common in captive collections outside their native islands but I can confirm that the Cincinnati Zoo has them.

Secretary bird is most likely to be in wilder open space so it can run fast around with those long legs, not in smaller cage. If it can fly a little, walls and ceilings can be necessary but bigger and wider. Don't you think?

I very much doubt any plans for aviary or marine JWE DLC. It's very plausible we will not see any major DLC after this year since JWE will be put on the backburner after Planet Zoo's release, the rumoured '1993 DLC' will probably be the last hurrah.
