Actually in The Voice France the word "talent" is used to refer to the singers that take part in the contest. Mika was actually asking "is there a singer there?" Because as a coach he cannot see the singers' face before turning around (because it's a blind audition). So he just wanted to check if there was no singer hidden behind the wall. The subtitles are not accurate for that part.

Having your tongue twisted is another thing when you speak multiple languages, but that's not what's happening here. So I repeat, it's easy to sing in a language and interject in another one. But bragging about how many accents you can do or the vocabulary you have isn't relevant, cause you don't know about the other person's level.
