As well as the DLC Driving missions on a timer with the Blue ones. Too bad can only do them once. Ah, well stuck in single player using the walking to and buying upgraded cars and flipping back easy way to gain for the only real rule of TDU2 'Who ever has the most Toys Wins'. Yes the DLC cars and bikes were fun when released. Most bought the Ducati not much of a cruising bike unlike the Harley.

We've been waiting for this. You can teleport buying houses or use liscence tests to dicover roads. Also to get DLC cars you need to select a car, scroll to DLC car after selection, and retry if missed or buy if you got it.

About the DLC, you can’t normally buy any DLC cars or bikes unless you're connected to the TDU2 servers (which nowadays is impossible) regardless of if you own the DLC or not. Thankfully, there's a very easy exploit to buy any DLC car you can find in the dealerships (bikes, unfortunately, aren't buyable using it), even if you don't own the DLC. There should be video tutorials out there that'd explain it better than I would. Do note, though, that if you don't own the associated DLC for the car, it will be turned into a pink mustang the next time you boot the game.

Two questions about Solar Crown if you or anyone in comments knows: 1) Isn't this game still set to be a live service release? (basically requiring an internet connection to play/launch and also ofc meaning they can [and they always do at some point] simply kill the whole game at their time of choosing) - Or did they eventually listen to the core fan base and not decide to ruin the whole experience... (?) 2) Will player homes now be available on release? Last I heard they were going to introduce this ESSENTIAL feature later on at some undisclosed point in time **sigh** ... Thanks.

This game belongs in the pages of the past. Graphics, physics, GUI, sounds, lighting etc have long vastly improved since this came out and, frankly, I don't see the fascination with it; even if the gameplay is supposed to be fun. It looks horrendous (gameplay and its looks).

I get where you're coming from, most of the gameplay in this youtube LP series hasn't shown too off much of what makes TDU2 TDU2. TDU2 when it came to much of the racing itself was uh... meh ngl, but the lifestyle and social aspects of it was what hooked many of us and nothing else has had anything like it since, except maybe GTA Online but there you get killed by a flying bike. Virtually nowhere else can you just drive around like a normal person and simply use your indicators or put the windows and roof down at will. You got 2 entire islands to roam, filled with shops, houses, dealerships, events, wrecks, and even carwashes to find and have a good time with. Unfortunately the social aspect of the game is neutered since online's literally dead unless you got mods on PC, but with friends it got even better cause you can do a whole bunch of dumb stuff with them such as hanging at your house, gambling, or even driving eachother around. Course there was online racing too, and clubs (which also acted as another hangout for you and people) competing for top spots likewise. You even can make your own custom routes and could share them with the world (which doesn't sound too groundbreaking nowadays but a lot of games took a while to get that implemented and this had it day one). Course, this is just me rambling.

Just peacefully enjoying the drive, going to a dealer while car shopping, and as you drove a crew of people drove by while just roaming and chilling on the way to the club. Maybe you joined them, maybe you went to the surgeon instead. The MMO aspect as you played was just something else. Driving on the highway and indicating non verbally to strangers when you just kind if hit it off while matching highway speeds... It was really something special that can't quite be put into words. Hell, jumping into their cars and seeing them drive while riding shotgun... It was a great game and even if Solar Crown captures 1/4 of that essence it will be amazing

Ain't no way you genuinely think that games like Forza Horizon 5 or NFS Unbound hold a candle to this masterpiece. Everything about TDU2 is better than modern franchises, sound design is loud and clear (albeit archaic) unlike NFS with the same shitty backfire fart can sounds since Payback or Forza Horizon with it's quiet engines, graphics are nowhere near as horrible as you exaggerate it is, this game has peak progression mechanics compared to any racing game even more than Most Wanted or Carbon, dealerships (something no other racing game has), houses that you can buy, interact with, and customize (no other racing game has this), music is a time capsule of 2010's house and edm, minute details such as blinkers, roll windows, and convertible shifts (no AAA racing game today has blinkers functions). TDU2 is a masterclass of objectively fulfilling gameplay in the racing game genre. Forza Horizon's been the same since 3, NFS is cringe now, Motorsport and Gran Turismo are about as fun as going to the supermarket to buy groceries, and The Crew is not even a solid contender to the games mentioned above (plus it's made by Ubisoft💀).

Tis too bad that The Crew Servers go down when it isn't profitable enough those games will no longer be playable at all depending on connecting to a server to even load.
