And with this, a great saga starts. To be able to enter a little more context with the story, I will tell you a few curiosities about this title-remake: 1. This game takes place 14 years after the start of the war known as "Emergency Day or E Day", which happens after the "pendulum wars" on planet Zera. 2. The antagonists of this saga are the Locust, living beings belonging to the hollow of the planet, with a monarchical system. 3. The main antagonist of this title is the general Locust called "Raam", a general who lasted more than 15 years in service, this is a theron guard with greater strength, size and intelligence than the rest of his class, his weapon, technicly is a sword but with his size, he uses it like a machete, he is able to control the krills and use them as weapon or shield against bullets. 4. The pendulum wars were a conflict that lasted 80 years between 2 sides, the UIR and the CGO, they fought for control of the "imulsion", a component used as world fuel, this can be seen in the wretches of act 3 and the gas station from act 2. 5. Berserkers are the females of the locust species. 6. All the names of the enemies in the game: Drone, Grenadier, Sniper, Elite Grenadier, Turret, Boomer, Theron Guard, wretch, luminous wretch, Berserker, Rivers, Corpser, Brumank, Krills, Raam. 7. Characters: - Marcus Fenix - Dominic Santiago - Lieutenant Anya Stroud - Colonel Victor Hoffman - Anthony Carmine - Lieutenant Minh Young Kim - Augustus Cole - Damon Baird - Jack - Chaps (the one at the gas station). - Franklin (leader of the survivors act 2). And now, lets go for GOW2, in my opinion, the one twith the best camapign of the saga.

Great! You will love Gears 2 for sure. And I hope you remember Anthony Carmine and how he died in this game in the first missions, it can be important to catch some funny/sad dialogues in Gears 2. That said, don't skip the training in Gears 2 (choose to train the new character, is important to know him better). You will need more the chainsaw in Gears 2: Remember you can use the chainsaw any time, you don't need enemies close to you to use it (you can also cut some things like the furnices, chairs, tables and wardroves), so you should practice the time it takes you to get the chainsaw to fully rotation when you hold B, you will notice that is ready to cut Locusts when Marcus holds his Lancer in a higher position, then you can walk towards the enemie (flanking them, because direct damage still stoping the chainsaw revs). I recommend you to hold B 2 seconds before you get close to the enemy you want to cut; while you cut one enemy you can keep holding B to mantain the chainsaw in rotation and ready to cut another enemy, in that way you can kill enemies one after another (enemies like Wretches, they really hate that chainsaw).

Nice! Loved how your first reactions on the holes were yeet them grenades! Shame that ya missed the second one but it's a bit tricky to aim that far away I have 2 final pieces of advice now that this game is over 1: from now on, I highly recommend any enemy you see with a new gun you haven't seen before, go "oooh shiney" and proceed to rip it out of their cold, dead hands, from now on there starts to get more vereity 2: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SKIP TRAINING THE ROOKIE!!! I only say that because otherwise you just lock yourself out of a small section that you can't otherwise get into, it'll be the first thing you decide on before you start actually playing

**Helpful Tip ** Holding down (B) does activate the chainsaw however if you get hit by a bullet, melee, or an explosion it cancels the chainsaw for a cooldown, this is because to make the game harder and not have it too easy for the players to chainsaw everything. Gears of War 2 is a nightmare about this, so good luck.

Yeah idk what happened to the AI in this game, I don't recall it being like this in the original. Dom specially is very... something else on this one lol. Anyways dont let this steer you away from the series. You have to yet to play the best Gears in the franchise, Gears 2. Although a bit older, it has a better feel gameplaywise, and the story is just as amazing.

Brumak is my favorite boss but in the classic Xbox 360 version you can't fight it the game makers did not put the brumak boss fight in Xbox 360 they only put it in pc version of gears of war 1

ah the final berserker of GOW 1...interesting fact...there are two ways you can kill it. you can either blow up the gas tank once it is on a train car behind that point or you can get the berserker onto the rear cars and press the button to disconnect the cars. also interesting fact that whole boss fight with the brumak was never in the original GOW 1...only in the remake...they decided to extend the game. but there is a kind of bad side to this; the remake of GOW 1 only came out for Xbox One so basically Microsoft were being assholes and were saying "hey if you want this better version of GOW 1...u HAVE to buy a Xbox One" even though many people online have proven that this remake could have just been on BOTH Xbox One and 360. i've always quite liked what Locust call us; Humans, sapiens (which i think is a reference to homosapiens) and groundwalkers. hope you enjoyed playing, you kind of get a feel for the four main characters by the end and we will be seeing more of them. Marcus is very much; i'm a hero but i'm a hero by my rules. Dom is very much: i'll stand by my friends and family first. Cole is: i'm always ready to play the game...of killing ugly monsters. Baird is: i may be an asshole...but i'm also smart and valuable asset.
