Jade mentioned turning down the control sensitivity, and yes, you can indeed turn the sensitivity down, and it's actually the best tip i can could you for this game to do so in the game options, it reality does make a world of difference for the better in terms of making the aiming more managable and accurate, and in Gears 2 it's very simple to change, and i highly recommend giving it a try, and goes as follows: 👇 1. Go to game options. 2. Select 'Xbox 360 controller settings' 3. Set 'Look sensitivity' 'Target sensitivity' and 'Zoom sensitivity' to low. All done 😊

@@riverdunlap5826 Yep, it's actually quite a decent longer range weapon when you use it's zoom. You can zoom with the Gorgon pistol also, love that pistol, probably my favourite pistol in the Gears series, it looks cool, has burst fire, and has that awesome sound when it fires.

At 1:35:19 the wall on your left is not a wall, that's actually the riftworm found later in the game. You can see it move a little bit here and you can also tell that the texture of the riftworm's skin is different than that of the real wall.

i know how you feel sometimes about wanting to fight just "regular locust" but this is Locust Tactics for you...they use creatures and animals as weapons; they ride them, strap mines or weapons on them...use them to dig holes...it's pretty effective. also 1:12:46 THAT is General Skorge the last of the four Locust Generals (the other three are dead by this point), he is also known as High Priest Skorge because he is the leader of the Locust religion. He is pretty scary.

I was gonna comment on your Gears 1 playthrough that you should definitely play 2 and 3. Good to see you're ahead of me! One thing I love about 2 and 3 is the expanded arsenal of weapons. You have: Scorcher: Flamerthrower weapon. Not anything super extravagant, but it's a fun addition. Landing a Perfect Reload will increase the maximum range temporarily. Hammerburst 2.0: Fires single shots like a semi-auto, but will fire automatically if you hold down the trigger or fire faster if you tap the trigger repeatedly. Magazine size isn't as large the original burstfire Hammerburst (about 20 rounds, I believe), but it's deadly at long range. Gorgon Pistol: A burst-fire submachine gun pistol. Fires 4(?) bursts individually before reloading. You'll find them on the Kantus priests later on (the guys that screech a lot; you'll know them when you see them). Ink Grenades: A poison gas grenade that slowly damages you and limits your field of view. Also used by the Kantus. Mortar: A heavy weapon that doesn't take up a slot, but limits your movement. Getting used to distancing your shots correctly takes a bit of practice. Landing a Perfect Reload (I believe) increases the explosion radius. Oh, and don't bother blindfiring this; the shot doesn't really do much except roll on the ground and MAYBE damage other players slightly XD Mulcher: Portable heavy machine gun; another heavy weapon. Doesn't need to be reloaded, but overheats instead. Take cover behind a waist-high barricade like a sandbag emplacement and aim and it deploys like a turret. Pretty good against bullet sponge enemies like Boomers. Boomshield: A deployable arm shield you can take cover behind. You can only use your pistol when carrying it, but you can deploy it, then hit 'Y' to stick it into the ground and it'll function like regular cover. Don't be afraid of testing out new weapons! If you need a specific weapon later on, the game will provide you with one, so no need to worry about needing it later on! One of my personal favorites is the Torque Bow. Also, regarding Perfect Reloads: It is sometimes beneficial to leave your weapons slightly or even fully empty. If you run into an enemy you need to deal with quickly, you can switch over, land a Perfect Reload, and lay into them before they cause you problems. This is especially good for enemies like Boomers and Bloodmounts. This game was a big part of my childhood. Can't tell you how many hours I spent playing the offline multiplayer against bots. I'm so happy there are people who want to play older games like these, because they sometimes get forgotten. Hope you have a blast playing this!

Heavy weapons! They do not take up an equipment slot! Though you do move slower when using them

just a little Tips and ticks if ur on any Turret Guns , u can press and hold RB to cool it down . Making it easy for to shoot at enemies a lot faster , i this tip well help and later on other Gears Of War games does have that "Press RB to Cool down the Turret Gun".

Don't be afraid to be aggressive. Gears of War does award aggressive gameplay as long as you keep calm. Reavers also have 1 big weakness, if you go under them they cannot hurt you at all. As long as you stay directly under them you can look up and blind fire into their stomach.

1:30:42 If you click the right thumbstick down while aiming your Boltok or Snub pistol, it zooms in a little and the sight gets smaller, giving you more accurate shots.

New game, new tips: 1. Now you know what to do when you see a Locust down. Y button is to humiliate the Locust (press Y all the times you want). B is the weapon execution, all weapons (even mortar) have its unique execution. X is a fast execution. A button you already know, but if you want to turn your meatshield into an explosive package shield, press UP while you carrying the Locust. 2. You can press and hold RB to cool down the turrets, so you don't have to wait that long to shoot again, now you can also aim with turrets (LT). 3. You don't need to get to the top distance to shoot the mortar, it starts at 35 meters, so you can shoot any distance between 35 and 150 meters. 4. You can kick the tickers when they're close to you (B), just do it fast and before they explode (you can only do it one time with the same ticker, the second time it will explode). 5. Stick a grenade in big enemies (like the Boomers) is an easy way to kill them (if you dare to run close to them). And great, you going pretty good in this Gears. You only missed a funny dialogue in the sniper practice (it was easier in the left path xd), you can find it in YT if you want.

Xbox D-Pad is your best friend. Swap between weapons depending on the situation. If you lost track on where to go press LB Stick close to your team mates. Lancer has a chainsaw - press and hold B when near to execute them. Enemies will sometimes go down but are not dead, in that case walk over to them and either kill them or hold them hostage as a human meat shield! It's a great story!

I was not expecting you to start Gears 2 so soon. Gears 3 is my favourite, I'd say Gears 2 my second favourite though. 😁 You've definitely got the active reloading down now! You've got 2 different active reloads. To hit the Perfect Active Reloads you've got to the solid white part of the bar when reloading, the Perfect Active Reload is the one that gives you the damage boost. Hitting the slightly grey part of the bar just a standard Active Reload, which just loads the gun faster and doesn't give you any bonuses. Don't forget that the damage boost is just temporary, they only last a few seconds or just go when you change weapon. Definitely recommend getting the most out of them because they do provide secondary bonuses to some weapons. If you hold the reload button when you're on turrets or Troikas it cools the weapon down too, so you don't have to physically wait for it to cool down. When you're firing the Mortar, the longer you hold it the further it will fire. It says what distance it'll fire in the middle of the screen as you're aiming. I'm not sure if you noticed 😆. It's a devasting weapon, I'd definitely recommend using it whenever the game provides them. It's one of the heavy weapons that they introduced in Gears 2 which you carry it in addition to your other weapons and you don't swap it with another. You've got to fire it when you've some open above you though, if you're in a doorway or in a building with a ceiling above you the projectile will potentially ricochet and kill you, which I've managed to do a couple of times myself 😂.

little more info for you: Rustlung: this is a sickness i can't go into too much for spoiler reasons but basically it is caused by the the yellow Imulsion fuel that is under the planet, prolonged exposure to Imulsion can cause rustlung which is a terminal disease. symptoms include coughing up blood and discoloured throat and lungs (hence its name). Ravens: COG helicopters Centaurs: COG tanks Grindlifts: COG drilling platforms and troop carriers.

Gear lore: Dom's wife Maria was the love of his life. He fell in love with her when he was 11 years old. At 16 he got her pregnant and he married her saying It was going to happen anyway just a little earlier than plan. He had a son then soon after he had his 2nd child a girl Slyvia. On emergence day Maria sent the kids to her moms to have the day to themselves. On that day Maria's parents and their kids were killed. After that day Maria broke down. After 4 years of her saying she saw her kids out there and wanting to go on walks to look for them, she left. Dom began his search for Maria.

You couldn’t hit them with the sniper at the end because you weren’t supposed to that’s why the aimer didn’t turn red when u aimed at them. I saw the shots u would have actually hit them. Good content love your hair and glasses. I’m top 100 in gears 5 tdm by the way. (Go Gnashtys) on series x. Ps. At 1:44 u passed the boomshot (best power weapon in the game). Hope u keep playing maybe on gears 5 I’d love to see that.

Just some tips and critiques and observations. Gears of War is one of my favourite series of anything. I love it more than Halo. 18:35 Not only can you melee people with grenades, but if you melee a wall or cover with a grenade, it will stick to it and blow up if an enemy comes close to it, like a mine. Also, non aiming firing from behind cover is great for when the enemy is close to you and they're running towards you 😊
