JDs not a fuck up any military situation the moment you put fire bombs and even melee weapons into the equation it becomes a combat situation and pending how bad it was their response was warranted take the Boston massacre most people look at it as British troops where dicks for opening fire on protesters when in reality those soldiers where backed against a wall with rocks being thrown at them what should they do open fire or be stoned to death? To me it's pretty cut and dry now apply that to JDs situation with rocks and molotovs and as for the Hammer dawn JD made a difficult decision in the heat of an extremely fucked situation If anything i feel sorry for JD yeah it shapes him into this no nonsense by book soldier it would anyone but he's still himself.

And we continue with this great game, with many events, the introduction of Elizabeth Lizzie Carmine but with her horrible death at the end, the introduction to the new enemies of the saga, a dark past coming to light and finally with a change of protagonist from JDF to Kait after that great accident. CURIOSITIES: 1.- As you can see, Clayton Carmine would be in charge of teaching future cog gears at the COG academy in New Ephyra, where he would train JD, Del, Fahz and Elizabeth (22 years later after V-day). 2.- 22:19 LANCER MK4 or LANCER GL: being another of Baird´s creation based on Marcus' custom lancer, this one has a metal stock, the cartridge was positioned in a rectangular shape without the need to have a padlock underneath to reload it, the sight was replaced by a more basic and small and the most important change, moving the chainsaw aside, baird would manage to place a grenade launcher (replacing the GOW3 mortar) for heavy combat, considering it more practical, this lancer gains an incredible shooting power due to the implemented barrel and the power The weapon increases with measure, so it gains some recoil like the MK1 lancer although without being a great inconvenience, this lancer is perfect for close and medium combat and for distant combat using the grenade launcher (use it with "Rb" i think) that can be remote-controlled to a specific area by means of the lacer that marks the area, this weapon is one that you cannot leave lying around if you find it, it is one of the best that TC STUDIOS could create, in the campaign it can save you from various straits. 3.- 53:15 JACE STRATTON after the war would become a famous actor although we dont see him in the campaign, there are movie posters where his face appears, on that table you can find MICHAEL BARRICKs lighter that he gave to Jace before his death, plus a photo of his adoptive father, Dr. Wilsen who died possibly a little before the end of the war for old age, rest in peace. Carmine, Fredo Carmine or someone else) lizzie would join the COG (for having admiration for her "Uncle Clay") at the same time as JDF and Delmont, getting to know them and befriending them both, Elizabeth would be known for her great skills in mechanics and driving, along with her great character and responsibility, her appearance is based on a simple armor of the cog without armor on the arms or legs, being replaced by a mechanic's pants with tools and a jacket tied at the waist, including a modification to her chest for welding, she is equipped with fragmentation grenades and a lethal fire enforcer, a great character and the first female carmine that the saga gives us, Unfortunately this great character would give her last breath during the Swarm attack in settlement 2 after the attack of the hammer of dawn led by the JDF armor, this event will change him forever, rest in peace Lizzie, you appeared little but you were a great character. So basically JD, Fahz, & Del were stationed at Settlement 2 with DeeBee robots. They were getting rocks thrown At until incendiaries were thrown. So JD ordered to fire and Fahz did the same, but not Del (all 3 were in different areas). So only Fahz knew about it. And in gow4 the jinn bot mentioned how settlement 2 was their most compliant because of this. It’s supposed to be like the American Boston massacre thing

@@flexican5399 Whether or not they had non lethal weapons isn't really on JD. That's on command. JD was a Lieutenant, following orders just like every one else. At the end of the day, the rioters physically assaulted the COG and were throwing Incendiaries, which as I said would likely result in a tonne of innocent casualties. The COG were supposed to be their to ensure everyone's safety and while it can be argued the rioters wouldn't have caused trouble in that way if the COG weren't there, but if something else had happened, the COG would be blamed for not taking measures to protect the people. It was a no win situation for those sent to the settlement, while their superiors are comfortable back at base. The responsibility for all of the bloodshed and innocent lives lost rests solely on the shoulders of the minority of rioters and anarchists, who's violence endangered everyone.

@@flexican5399 No, that was a panicked decision when the men under him were being physically assaulted and having incendiaries hurled at them. Which would likely result in a LOT of innocent casualties, as well as the people under his command. They were there to oversee the protest. They were not there to be attacked with firebombs, which again, would also endanger the peaceful protestors. The bloodshed was the fault of the rioters. And instead of trying to imply I said command told him to give the order, maybe re-read what I said. He didn't organise the equipment, or the transport or any of the details. He was given his objectives, geared up and sent on his way.

Jade, don’t forget you can click the left stick… or the right one, I don’t remember to tell friendlies to focus their attacks to them. Also when your turret overheats press RB to cool it down quicker. Quick tip: The hijacked Dee Bees die much quicker with the Chainsaw. Save your ammo against them because they can take a lot of bullets.

A quick tip about the Rejects! While a chainsaw works best, you can also maneuver around the rejects as they go to melee attack you. They are slow enough that you can go behind them and execute them as you would normally when they aren’t awake. (Rip out their core) Make sure when they aren’t awake that you walk a bit slower when close. When you see them lift there head up to check their surroundings is when you should try to hide or get out of their line of sight!

Rejects can be chainsawed. They also take good damage from shotguns. The Lancer GL has a serious damage penalty beyond mid range. Refill its rockets and other explosives with red ammo boxes.

Just want to point out that what JD did is not as simple as them firing on peaceful protesters. Bottom line is that it's a very BIG gray area, and only proves that sometimes the right thing to do isn't the most clean.

There were rioters and anarchists in that crowd, hurling incendiaries and physically assaulting the COG. I'd be willing to bet they caused more innocent casualties than the COG did that day. I'd argue that, while JD shoulders the responsibility for both then and the hammer strikes, his actions saved likely resulted in far fewer casualties than if he'd done nothing. Hell, the Swarm could have wiped out every key character in Settlement 2.

39:51 it's possible that the Lancer-GL (Grenade Launcher), does slightly less damage than the standard chainsaw Lancer, but the GL fires faster, which i recon makes the damage per second about the same.

The lancer gl and the lancer both have 40 bullets, and when you have damage numbers on in horde or escape, it shows that the lancer does 80 something damage, and the GL does 60 something

Just a little info of what happened in those 4months in between. JD was in a coma for a lot of the time. He eventually woke up. Kait went to visit when he woke up and she tried to talk to him. JD feeling all guilty about everything that happened and that she now knows about what he did. He acts like a jerk and acts short with kait. Kait feels hurt by why JD is being that way and has a sad moment in an elevator ride. I think that is everything that is from the books that touches on the dynamic between the three characters.

I don't respect that. Ben ok... I feel bad for Ben but he died in the riftworm his spirit gave strength to Delta and now I feel is with the village built round the worm. My point is I don't feel thier loss as hard as I did Lizzie her first few seconds on screen are " Hey can you clear the road? No what never mind " and runs over a snatcher a creature most fear. THEN like a boss queen stuck it with a frag and walked away. Didn't even look back to make sure it was dead, She knew. Cool people don't look at explosions! She DIDN'T deserve to die in her truck... not that she did ^_-

The guy who smoked in the DLC is Barrick. btw you can collect items from deceased gears from the older games. When you collect all of them during the campaign, a memorial will pop up if you place the items in front of the memorial wall at the tombs of the unknown (final chapter of the game)

Lancer GL does more damage if all the bullets hit because it shoots faster than the classic lancer, but it does less damage per shot. It also has higher recoil than the classic lancer Great playthrough and reactions. Looking forward to the next one :)

The Lancer Grenade Launcher (or Lancer GL) has a higher rate of fire and deals more damage than the chainsaw Lancer. But of course the GL doesn't have the chainsaw which is still a life saver in close quarters.

You should play more online. Lancer GL does less damage than the MKIII per hit BUT does have better accuracy increased rate of fire and bigger mag. Perhaps why it appears to do more damage.

Hello Jade, I've been following you since you started on Halo, I love what you do. Because perhaps to be said in other comments ... Look everywhere around you for the components, sometimes even often your teammates will go in one direction but in the other there are hidden weapons, objects to pick up or components for Jack or even like in this video around 4:50 pm where you went left, right on the other side of the destroyed bridge there was a component accessible only by Jack. For the improvements of this one there are no good or bad priority improvements, but the assaults and support are more interesting at the beginning because the help of Jack will be sometimes essential in certain places whereas as much as he had the good improvements.

I never understood why JD ran towards everyone when the Hammer started to malfunction. It was targeting the area around him so why not run the opposite away until Baird figures out how to shut it down.

Try shooting at point blank range with the gnasher. It gives you a better chance of all the pellets hitting the target, ergo more damage. Also you seem to struggle with rejects, they are honestly a waste of ammo. The chainsaw takes them out immediately, or you can trick them into swinging at you and pull out their batteries for an instant kill. You can slide into cover nearby while it swings, and get behind them easily.

Hey jade your friendly Onyx operative here You wanted to know about damage rates for your lancers as we all know you love the retro but here's what you need. The chainsaw Lancer ( AKA Lancer MKIII ) is the default one. 60 - 80 damage per hit. The GL lancer does less damage 50 - 70 but has faster fire rate and a slightly bigger magazine and and improved accuracy ( to refill ammo blue is your bullets and red the grenade rounds and other explosives ) The Retro Lancer does more damage 80+ but has slower fire rate and less accurate. After viewing your hit rates in a few videos You might be better off with Lancer MKIII and/or the Lancer GL You do the correct thing and aim for the largest target, Body hits. But if you can take your time and land head shots with Retro you will get the most POP for your buck. Also The Tri-shot is the 3 barrel minigun, The RL-4 Salvo is what you had and fires rockets. Also enjoyed your reaction to " We brought company " and you said " Oh Good! " and then regretted it as it wasn't ''friendly'' company.

That scene at the end is exactly what's wrong with gears 5. Trying to pass real world problems offer something so small and insignificant. Not to mention they try to demonize people who defend themselves. This is when the game lost me. The first 3 games were amazing and written incredibly well.
