The Pendulum Wars between the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) and the Union of Independent Republics (UIR) lasted for 89 years. When it ended, Emergence Day happened only 6 weeks later. Up until then, the Retro Lancer was the standard weapon for COG soldiers. (of course I'd imagine it was just called a Lancer at the time)

Tips Jade: - NEVER EVER use frags or any explosive weapons when your in Windflares it affects your aim - Always take cover in Windflares or the environment will kill u and use environment to kill off enemies - when an enemy is behind cover u can kick them over and perform knife kill

After the Gears series if you really want something with some great longevity for your channel. Play through Red Dead Redemption 2. Easily a 50-60 trek just through the main story line and many but not all the side missions. Probably one of the greatest games of all time and absolutely beautiful. Truly a masterpiece.

I do like using the Pendulum Wars flashback as a way to introduce the combat mechanics. It does present a significant narrative hurdle to introduce combat in a world that has been at peace for a quarter of a century.

The reference to settlement 2 is something that will be brought back up in gears of war 5 so try to keep that in mind cause it’s the reason for a big story point in the game Also you’ve probably heard that you should shoot a bunch of tomatoes a little while later into the campaign just keep an eye out for a big greenhouse that you literally cannot miss when you walk in you will see the tomatoes everywhere

Ha nice costume glad you are getting into the game and glade you remembered that Easter egg cut scene and you are in for one fun and action filled journey. Marcus's son's name is James Dominic Fenix his middle name was given to him in honour of Dom and the modern Lancers you know and love was invented when Tie Kaliso the man who's mind broke and used a shot gun to end his misery when he used a chain saw to cut a Locust in two the Cogs discovered that and used a chain saw instead of bayonets. PS when you reach the end let the credits play in answers a question for a character.

Carmine in the outsiders Settlement 5 is not the carmine from GOW3, there is 2 carmine brothers left alive in GOW4, the carmine in GOW3 (Clayton Carmine) is still working for the COG under First Minister Jinn and Gary Carmine is an outsider working for Reyna.

Tip: you can get ammo from the fabricator and and at some points you'll build barriers and sentrys on certain points of the game. When you see it on other parts of the game

Tip: Instead of roadir running into the fast mantle, simply take cover from a small distance and then do the left stick + B button combo. This allows you to do it while basically standing still.

good tip if you want it: there is a new grenade in GOW 4 n 5 called shock grenades they work great against robots but not so much against anything else. Kait's comment about the babies is a reference to how in the GOW universe they did some really messed stuff to ensure the survival of the species; basically if you weren't a woman who could fight or work in the military you were sent to birth camps and your "duty" was to ensure the survival of the species. DeeBee is just the name of the robot product...there is a reason they are called that but i won't spoil it. Basically they were originally designed as security and construction bots to rebuild the COG cities. But then Jinn had the stupid idea of militarising them because she didn't want to waste human lives (but as we all now technology is inferior to humans in military situations...technology can't make choices like we can). However the one responsible for creating DeeBee's did not approve of of Jinn militarising them...just remember that when you find out who made them.

You can increase your frame rate on the game to make it a better experience by going into your game selection on the series x and increasing the FPS on the game itself. It really makes the game that much better
