Clayton's Tattoo he got in honour of Anthony & Benjamin still gets me everytime. Man the Gears Trilogy really is right up there with the Halo Trilogy. It was a story first and a game second and it shows.

Seeing Marcus lose everyone. John dimaggio is amazing at portraying the pain in his voice. Also, just saw the ending full video. Love seeing people who get into a new series struggle and grow, and now in gears 3 you're blowing through enemies and zen reloading perfect. Also when you notice doms knife awesome. And saying Myrrah deserved a more painful death, I can't agree more lol

1:14:10 Powerful scene here. Baird is always cynical and sarcastic and cole is always positive and enthusiastic. To see them so serious, hurt, and angry just goes to show how crushing Dom’s death is to them all. R.I.P Dominic Santiago. Thank you for doing a play through of this Jade, it was really entertaining to see someone else experience the Gears trilogy for the first time. I can’t wait to see you play the rest of the games and dlcs.

Lol I just binged watch literally all these clips even from Gears 1 and 2 seeing you play reminds me of the first time I played, And Props to you for playing this by yourself too most people have someone to co-op with, not to mention Gears 4 and 5 campaigns are in their own league it doesnt really capture the grittiness of war as it did the past 3 games but still it has alot of story to fill you in, Im really loving this channel thoo ♡

Yeah I'm certain you'll love RAAM's shadow, but I'll put this here as a heads up for judgement, without story spoilers It takes place before GoW1, so the characters look way younger Instead of 2 rifles and a pistol slot, you'll have 2 slots that any weapon could fit in, it's a choice exclusive to this game as far as I'm aware You'll occasionally see these HUGE glowing crimson omens, like the ones that you see when cog tags are nearby, except these ones are ment to offer specific challenges, if you accept them, absolutely do it with the thought process "when I started there's no way I'd be able to finish these properly, now I can see for myself how good I've gotten" Personally I'm confident that you could complete them, and I hope the heads up helps

I feel that if you dont dig into the lore you end up hating myra a lot more then if you do. As if you do you discover that she is actually the daughter and part of government experiments from when she was born to try and cure rustlung. The sires from gears 2 are a side effect of that experiments and myra is the child of one of the lead researchers and her mother who developed a hive mind like immunity with the locust. The locust also being another by product of government experiments that changed totry an exploit the (originally only drones were locusts not all the others) drones into cheap labour. Eventually myra and her father wanted freedom but he was killed and myra fled underground. (I think most of this is accurate along generally but may be a couple glassed over parts)

If I remember right, they had a poll with the Gears of War community to see if then next carmine would live or die at the end of Gears 3 and I think it narrowly ended on living.

Back in 2011 before gears 3 was released there was a petition from Epic Games whether to save carmine or he dies. Well the community voted to save him but someone has to die. Dom was the other choice but not named. A hard choice was mad unknowingly

I have to admit I think Dom’s death scene is the most powerful and heart breaking scene I’ve ever witnessed in a game. I remember first time I saw it when the game came out years ago and I literally sat in my chair crying for ages. I think the last of us with Sarah’s death at the beginning of the game is a close one too, but that is second place

the early gears games has got to be the best writing I have ever seen in gaming, especially halo, this is the saddest one because of the loss of Dom, but the worst part is, it was up to fan choice, it sucks but at least carmine ( I think that's the name) lives, but it was his send off that was cinematic and tragic, its like watching Gran turino or something with a building of character, only to lose them in the final act. also I felt the anger for when Marcus let his anger out on the guy who got on the ferry out, I know its Ice T, plays a good character but damn, I never felt more angrier, so that feeling is mutual.

The reason the locust died was because they are a success form of the creatures in gears 2 and they are part man and imulsion The locust were supposed to be weapons of war like made for war made by the man niles in gears 2 and they were kids kidnapped by them as experiments He took them to the mountain and they hid underground All female locust are berserkers and everything else is male

in regards to when you start Gears Judgment...there is something you might want to be made of aware of. firstly Gears Judgment is set 16 weeks after E-Day, yeah WEEKS only so if it feels a little underwhelming in terms of enemies that is why...it is near the beginning of the war. Also Gears Judgment plays a little differently in that areas are divided into sections and each section has the standard way you can play it or the "de-classified" way. There will be a gear symbol that u use in each area to de-classify each area...and interesting fact...the de-classified is the harder and actual way things happened. if you choose to play your own way you can of course but it may be a little easy.

Ok, but Myrrah's death was still painful, a sharp pain in the stomach is excruciating, especially if it's a shot or stab wound. Not only that, there was little chance she directly after the stab, as she would have to endure internal and external bleeding (something also not many enjoy enduring), so yeah, I think her death was painful enough. Also the fact that she was basically just trying to save her people, the locust. Behind that icky layer of evil, there still is a will to keep her version of society safe. They were forced to endure lambency, watching their brothers burn up and turn feral, killing machines. To be honest their assault on humanity was somewhat fair (not really but is the point still delivered?).
