You are definitely not alone in that. I remember when I played Awakening I was SO excited when I heard that you can romance Anders in DA2, but I never ended up romancing him, because they ruined his character.

Velanna and Oghren are AMAZING as a dynamic duo in speaking. ALthough the fact that Oghren has some of the best lines is no shock, Velanna being one is a bit more shocking. But, I loved her character anyway. After all, Dalish mage. Don't get much more exciting than first to the keeper…
