I saw in another video that you don't need to fight the last group that break through the wooden bars. As soon as they jump down you can run and climb up the ledge and get the hell out of there.

Make sure you have all the ammo you can carry and grenades and fire arrows crafted. Also equip yourself in an outfit that helps with healing and melee damage. This is not the time to look cute. I agree with two previous comments that helped me pass this in only half an hour: stay near the spot you respawn and keep aiming. And when the last group breaks through, run through them and up the wall they came out. They don't follow after a certain point. Good luck!

for people getting frustrated AF with this, i finally got it. i stay pretty much in the same spot you are respawed. for the first guy, shoot him square in the waist, second guy comes out of a cave, wait for him to get half way towards you then shoot in the waist (stick with shotgun for now). 3 guys show up on ledge to right, again, let them get closer and shoot in the middle, don't panic, save ammo, reload whenever you have a break. another guy will come from same ledge, let him get closer take out. now you have a short break. move slightly to your right so can see ledge a bit to your left, as soon as bow man shows, take him out the shotgun, reload, wait for guy to come left of the pillar and get him before it gets too close. now switch to rifle, get the bowman on the ledge on the right then as many guys as you can with the rifle. if you are lucky and you get them all, there is a short cutaway and switch back to shotgun and take out all 3 behind the gate, top left and your done

Tips: t Turn off the audio. Put combat mode on easy in the menu. Stay calm. Wait till they're quite close, 2 hits should be enough to kill each. There are green jars with gas that can kill them if you shoot those jars. There's one at the right where the first batch is coming from.

Shoot the green exploding jars to get rid of some of them. While jumping around to escape them grab ammos. Took me some 10 attemps (or more, I don't remember) but finally got through it.

The Key is to Stay mindful of your Ammo, & make well placed Midsection shots with the Shotgun. Once they start appearing on the ledges, Switch to Bow 🏹 with well placed Head Shot... This stops them from overwhelming you in Numbers.. Also use your enviornment, the Green Gas Jars can also hurt them.

I know guys it’s not the right thing, but was stuck on this part for two days, almost broke my console. So, I switched the “combat difficulty “ from normal to easy on this part, could go through it in about 2 minutes. Easy easy. Thanks to this my console is not broken now LOL

The only decent thing is, I’m able to make the bombs with the bodies, but sometimes it ain’t quick enough to be able to do it which when the enemy walks by him it blows up and shoots scrapnel at them, but sometimes you don’t have the time to do it

I got thru by resetting combat difficulty to easy, during the game, go to control, gameplay and you can reset 3 modes to easy, normal or hard

wtf I can literally spend an hr in here getting 20 xp levels doing dodge kills and they kept coming ... u spray ammo and it ends .. wtf .. never ever had that large mob come just keep fighting 2x at a time ... maybe its because i don't kill that first archer and go under them to keep meeleing everyone else *edit* and then watch this kill the archer and finish it meeling everything in record time .. argh wish i recorded it

i hate this part... i playing it hardest difficulty.. there is no checkpoints.. takes me 1 hour to unlock both doors and when you have to escape, i always wont make that jump and start all over agane at the fucking campfire

The only way I got through this stage was by setting game difficulty to Easy, Combat mode easy.. everything easy..

This is the best guide that I found for this f#£&*@g part of the game. The best advice that I can give is..... when you first drop in to the room and pick up the shot gun, fire at the first baddie in front of you, then rotate yourself slightly to the left, because that is the direction he always moves when shot, it lines yourself up perfectly with him for the next shot. The next bit of advice that I can give is to shoot the green urns pretty much as shown in this video, time it for the most kills and use the machine gun. The best place to stay is pretty much where you drop in to the room. Also do not use the dodge move, just run around the room, because you will get hit a lot more using the dodge move for some reason! Then just try to kill the gits as best you can, the two best weapons to have is the shotgun for close range and the machine gun for long distance. Make sure you go in to the room fully stocked up with ammo and the correct outfit to help resist damage etc etc. I really hated this part of the game, I love this game for the stealth kills, but the fast actions kills are just rubbish, this game does not do it very well.
