When Banjo was announced I was hyped even though I had never played any Banjo-Kazooie games, I was excited that a character who deserved to be in Smash for years was finally in. When Steve was announced I imagine I felt what Banjo fans felt. I have played and watched Minecraft since like 2012 when I was 10, and I am SO SO happy that a game that practically shaped my childhood will be alongside other characters I grew up with like Mario, Link, Yoshi, and especially Pikachu.
