Well it is covering the advanced suit so that's why it has armor pads because the advanced suit had those pads.

I'm mad hyped for this. Symbiote Spider-Man is a whole savage and I hear Yuri pulling in that Sauske voice for it, so I'm happy. Even more happy after hearing about that rumored leak that Peter and MJ are in a rough spot in their relationship and that MJ is getting particularly close with a certain Daily Bugle coworker: Eddie Brock. Is it just me or the part toward the end of the trailer where peter is by himself and said “he(lizard) got away from us” that he is referring to venom and himself not miles. It’s because of this that I want sometime in the game where Spider-Man says “we are venom”!!!!! Also the entire thing with the music too makes it seem like there’s something at stake it’s definitely gonna be a dark game but the question is how dark.

That's how I want Marvel and Sony to do Spiderman in the 4th film but also keep him distanced from Zendaya's MJ until the climax so they don't F**k it up like Disney has done with other movies. Plus, they should have Mister Negative, Hobgoblin, the Inner Demons along with Kingpin included and have Scarlet Witch, White Tiger (Ava Ayala) and Daredevil featured in the movie too and with each having more than 5 minutes of screentime!

I love how the symbiote actually helps Peter in battle rather than just making him stronger. Plus I like how it changes his personality to make him more aggressive and dismissive of other people rather than making him into an asshole, which was what Raimi’s Spider Man 3 failed to understand.

This version of Venom seems to be based more on the Ultimate Universe comics. In that universe, the symbiote was a substance created for the purpose of curing diseases like Cancer. Curt Connors AKA the lizard was shown in the last game to be helping treat Harry for Norman Osborn. He probably had some of the symbiote for testing or something.
