Actually, I feel like AJ did Tenn a favour killing him. He was acting out and messing up all the time, I think that after seeing Minnie's death he would be depressed. He saw her dying, and still wanted to go into a herd of walkers to... I don't know, help her? Which was stupid? Tenn endangered his friends. First Mitch, now Louis. He was so so toxic towards Louis and James and Rosie too in s4, and that pissed me off so much. he doesnt even try to understand why they were acting this way, but instead just goes off on them. Plus, the choices he made were already chosen by a majority of people. That doesnt make him unique. He was good until season 2, but after that, i couldnt bear to watch him, but ended up watching him anyways. Like he said, he does have pretty good reactions. He has the potential to be a really great youtuber, but not unless he corrects those mistakes. Just my advice

Tbh I hated AJ back when this episode was released. I was like “he’s crazy a poorly written character! Wtf!?” But then I rewatched the whole episode thru the play through of another and as I saw how they picked the options I started sympathizing with AJ to finally understanding how our choices impact the way AJ thinks. If he’s a fucking monster it’s because you can’t get your shit together and taught him all kinds of backwards stuff. Either stick to one ideology or don’t complain because you’re going to have a bad time. I think that’s what everyone struggled with. Some wanted to please the other characters but didn’t think of what Clem and Aj’s relationship wanted and he suffered for it. I think if you genuinely tried to understand and be like AJ you would have an easier time picking the options best suited for it that doesn’t betray your ideology. Cause lies stack up and then you end up pissing on the characters. Idk

The reasons why I agree with AJ with putting Tenn down was because. -He got Mitch killed when he went out of cover after Lily's plea. -Getting himself caught again on the Boat -Running back to Minerva and risking Louis/Violet getting torn apart by a horde of walkers. AJ saw him as a liability after what he has seen of his poor decisions Tenn made. Trusting him with making the hard choice is the best because all that Tenn really is, is a burden upon the entire group. Forget about him being soft young boy who is talented with drawing, first things first is survival.

Rachel Goldenburg I was mainly referring to people telling him not to shoot lily despite all the shit she did. I should have specified that point. Yes he shouldn’t be allowed to kill whoever, whenever, Marlon is a perfect example of that. However, some players immediately took that as “he’s a killer/he’s dangerous” and took steps to coddle him because of that mistake. Marlins death was extremely unnecessary and even I consider that to be a murder, but I do not see killing lily or her people as murders because of their actions.

In ny opinion, it's better to trust AJ. If you want a kid to survive, you have to trust them with a gun including by making their own choices during the hard calls, even if it meant for a death of a liability. Sometimes the adults need to treat kids like a normal person so that they can have higher chances of survival by trusting them with a gun and decide themselves during the hard calls instead of shielding the kids from their harsh world. Tenn is just like another ben/Sarah/Gabe still useless at the end Ben: ratted out the group and killed kennys family and died and too scared at the end to be brave Sarah: her daddy made her soft and weak and kept being scared and not being bold Gabe: He was sacred/ stubborn and didnt listen and that got him killed Ten: he was a weak link and aj had to do it hes holding eveyone back

True. They all had POTENTIAL to be better, but because of there upbringing, the mindset at the time, PLUS they didn't have time to get better because of the dangerous situations (the raiders in for Duck, Carver for Sarah, walkers for Ben,etc) they were all a liabilty.

If I picked I would have made AJ shoot Tenn. I would pick it because if I left Louis survive it would have been better for Clem’s future. You can pick also even earlier in the game you can love Louis or make him be in the friendzone. And I would pick love Louis and shoot Tenn
