It was never about what we want, as above commentor mentioned, but what they could get away with. The limits have been pushed and pushed until Cyberpunk broke the camel's back. That game was the turning point where gamers began fighting back. Bad review scores, stopping preordering, mass online critique...

Devs 100% should always respect and listen to customer feedback. However, some of these devs (not all) are also controlled by greedy cooperations and barely give them enough creative freedom in the first place. All in all, gamers should start becoming far more selective with which games they support. Small indie devs are absolutely smashing it, and there are Double AA games still leaving a good impression, too. Personally, when it comes to triple A games. I only support Japanese devs. They tend to care more about creating a FUN experience instead of inserting a political agenda within them.

I like the news story about the launch of broken games. (But the problem isn't shipping broken games... it is "Skipping Play testers"). There is a process in making games that says "Send the game to the testing department".

I've been a gamer my whole life. I never would've believed games like today's would've existed. Games were always gonna get bigger and better but the rise of regular updates got many of us complacent. Then DLC became a thing, and then it became THE thing. All the sneakiest ways to inflate the price of the gamea we love. Then the push toward digital to literally steal any opportunity to hold value and make money on the secondary market. If you sell a used game you are seen as stealing from them, these big dev companies. They see us as having no right to own, trade, or sell anything of value. This must stop.

We don’t need quotes we need actions and complete games at lunch. That’s why I don’t pre-order games. Also the Ps5 pro price is ridiculous. Why Gaming has turned into a luxury at a time where technology has gotten to be a mass market. I’m tired of PlayStation thinking we are open wallets they can stiff
