I miss Half Life. WOW I still have the CD-ROM of HL1. That original intro where everything goes to hell was so epic back in the day and were talking DOS era. They set the mood, had great voice actors and the music (for the time) it was phenomenal.

A thought just came to mind - what doesn't VALVE just Re-Release HL1 and HL2 as a remastered version to use all the modern tech? If they don't want to make HL3?

There was actually times when the hebrews did practice child sacrifice. Its why the levitical law was originally given by God to set them apart. Its why they weren't to take foreign wives, get tattoos, or do anything the surrounding cultures did. Because it repeatedly led them into worshipping the gods of these nations, and always led to child sacrifice. Then they would be sent prophets and warned to repent. When they did there was a revival and repentance in the nation. More often though they hated and stoned the prophets. Which was always followed by judgement. Either natural, or through another nation and they were allowed to be taken into slavery. They would all suffer. They would cry out for help and mercy, promising to follow again. God would have mercy and save them. They would do good, be blessed and prosper. Then the whole thing would repeat again. I'm sure the paper is intending to state that child sacrifice was normal worship with hebrew religion, and in that its wrong. It was a part of every other religion at the time. But it is true at various times the hebrews did practice child sacrifice. Js for clarity and specificity.

Yeah, this isn’t the whole sacrificing children to Moloch thing, this is a claim that the way they worshipped Yahweh was through child sacrifice and Yahweh commanded it
