I am incredibly jealous of you. Your EarthBound set looks beautiful. Personally, EarthBound is one of my goals (collection wise), as well as Chrono Trigger. I doubt I'd ever be able to get either in that condition though. Big gratz for that. Every time I watch your videos or browse your site/forum I find myself wanting to play games... Great video! i got Infamous a couple of weeks ago and i love it.. i bought it when i bought my MGS4 limited edition PS3 bundle. (which is amazing) and i fully agree with you on Klonoa. amazing game when it was first released, and the Wii version is even more amazing. good video, dude.

You are so lucky to get a complete copy of Earthbound, dude! The other day I went to my local Flea Market and was able to buy a complete copy of the original Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior for the NES for 2 dollars a piece (this is including the manuals, maps, and everything!) I'm hoping I can get lucky enough to find a complete copy of Earthbound there someday, which isn't very likely, but I can still dream. :-P

Most of the good RPGs for the SNES are now rare and command high prices online, especially for complete copies. It's better than stocks; their value has only gone up in recent years.

Great score on EarthBound. I've been wanting to snag a complete copy myself lately, but I can't justify the cost at all. A complete boxed copy of MOTHER 2 is a fraction of the cost of a loose copy of EarthBound, and it's not like EarthBound is rare or anything. Blows my mind. I already own it on the MOTHER 1+2 cart for GBA at any rate, but I can only understand about half of what's going on. My Japanese is not as good as I'd like. Maybe one day...

I got infamous two days after it came out. My cousin was over so we decided I would take the good route and he would play the evil route. It was good so we could see both sides before he left. I also got Prototype the day after it came out and man it is addictive.

I buy an average of 12~20 games a week and pay my monthly subcriptions to 6 mayor mmos and still have money to pay bills, gas ect. As a collector you learn to manage your budget around games. for example you wont have the best car or fancy brand sunglases and clothes but you will have hard to find games and memorabilia. Its just a mater of preference. For me Getting all the strategy and rpg like platformers is a priority. I own every system since the odysey and after a few years it builds up.

It depends really I value the games I like a lot but I collect the games for every console that i can. I will always collect those I have an interest in or that are hard to find first. like Pete I have my room collection and im in the process of renovating my family room to become my display case for games and models. When you have the right to have a room just for Collecting purposes it becomes like a santuary and im sure petes collection room is that to him his santuary of his favorite games.

I only have 6 or 7 and wish i could buy more but im forced these days to only buy games that are under £10 unless something big is released. Sacred 2 was pretty crappy I thought.. I was hoping for more freedom in it - it had Fable 2 style 'fixed routes' as opposed to Oblivions freedom (of course I wasn't expecting that much but was still let down) but I much prefer earlier games like Balders Gate. The Universe and voice acting was just standard "Kill the goblins, smite thy foes", I thought it was pretty unispired. Got my cash back and went for Prototype.

Yeah, EarthBound won't be released in the states because it has copyrighted music in it, and Nintendo of Japan would rather have this game never be released on the VC than have it extremely edited... :(

I played GTA chinatown wars on my Ipod touch when it first came out. As much as it was a GREEEAT game, I don't think it was a good thing for the 12/13 years old boy I was to be that exposed to drug traffic XD. I bacame a real virtual hustler! I made millions reselling cocaïne in the game hehe... Still an amazing game and I would've like to play it on the DS.
