I feel the sims building things sooo much. I see houses and almost always think of how or if I can recreate it in the sims lol. It’s to the point that my parents think I should go to school for building or architecture 😂

In western culture 13 is unlucky but in Chinese culture it’s 4. This is because the number 4 is pronounced scarily similarly to the word death. The number is so unlucky even, that buildings with not have a fourth floor.

Thanks for helping me discover some new favorite games! I've been getting bored of sims, which has brought me back to my ocd habits and panic attacks. These will sure keep me busy for quite a while! 🙃

I still remember waiting weeks for Fallout 4 and I have way too many hours in it lol, Building is in my opinion really relaxing as well. I tried making Rivet City from Fallout 3 and the xbox couldn't handle it thou sadly. I have Autism stage 1, Sever Anxiety Disorder with AdHd . These games have helped me alot as well as the people who have supported me like my family and friends. Your doing great thou and I hope you continue to make videos, I'm going too soon as well just waiting for taxes lol.

Ah cool, I have played Sims 1 and Sims 3 and I agree it can be quite helpful. Some games that also work for getting my anxiety down is Dance Dance Revolution and Ragnarok Online (currently still playing Transcendence and Mobile Eternal Love versions respectively). CCG style games can be quite nice too, but can be a little tedious depending on the title. Dragonball Z Dokkan Battle is a newer CCG I started recently, the gameplay plus anime fan factor is really nicely balanced so I recommend that if you happen to enjoy the Dragonball media franchises.

No one asked but in case someone needs an idea for a slightly different genre of games to help cope with anxiety, rpgs really help me. specifically ones where u make ur own player character (my favorites are the mass effect and dragon age series). i love to create new characters and just immerse myself in the roleplay aspect and get out of my own headspace. even if the character is deeply fucked up at least its not the problems im dealing with in real life lmao. I do the same with the sims where i create entire stories for my sims that are way more in depth then the actual games allow, but it keeps me occupied, and sometimes even inspires me to do some drawing and writing for the characters. so if thats something u might like but never tried before its worth a shot!

I think this list made my game interest make sense. To be fair any game makes sense. Life is mostly out of our control but in a games storyline, we get to resolve shit in a short amount of time and control everything in others. Consistently getting shit solved in a shorter amount of time than we would solve something in our life time.

Skyrim and The long dark are also great for that.

I agree with this list. I haven't tried the latest Far Cry yet, so not sure if it'll work as well for me, but if I need simulated violence I can pull up Doom 2016, or, one of my favorites, Saints Row The Third, which just got a remaster, and can be very relaxing in the insane violence you can perform. I'm a Fallout 4 fan, and the building was a big reason why. Loved grabbing mods that let me build all kinds of stuff. I turned one settlement into a mall, another was an old west style town with a sheriff's office and jail, another was a modern town (Institute buildings) complete with a nightclub in the middle... just all kinds of fun. And I think I'll finally get around to trying to actually finish Witcher 3. It is a good game, I just get distracted easily.

Stardew Valley and Sims (2 and 4) make me feel better after a panic atack ☺️ WoW I love it, but I hate that a casual gamer like me doesn't have much to do after finishing the current lore other than pulling out transmog and mounts. I know this is unpopular, but ... The sims 3 makes me nervous, partly because of all its aesthetics I don't like it, somehow the colors and how they look ... Meh, I prefer my beloved sims 2 and the wasted potential of the 4

Well i agree the Sims 4 is amazing i have WAY to many hours in it 😅 ( 1,130 hours....im not joking ) I dont like shooters they give me anxiety. i love animal crossing, Stardew Valley, Planet Zoo things like that. Also i hate scary stuff cause im a huge chicken.

I also really like Fallout 4. And I think it is because of the settlement building. I also really like Sims 4, Witcher and Planet Zoo (I just logged out 10 minutes ago because, you know, sleep is "important"). I just really like building things and shooting things. Another game I really like that I playing to relax me is Middle-Earth: Shadows of Mordor and Shadows of War. Again, I just really like shooting things. This time with arrows and sneaking up of orcs, sticking them with a dagger and throwing them over a ledge. So relaxing 😊🥰

Is fallout 3 and fallout new vegas good for calming anxiety?
@Tarmax943 жыл бұрын
I'd love to know if someone else experiences the same as me. I have 5 different diagnoses, and one of them is anxiety disorder. I love horror games, although I can't play them as much because they're triggers and I end up exhausted after a few minutes playing them but here's the thing that no one seems to understand and they look at me like a weirdo and make me feel like I'm out of my mind when I try to explain it, and it is that I love the anxiety (of course I hate anxiety but hear me out) they make me feel, because I can point it out, I can say what's causing it, I know exactly why I'm feeling anxious, unlike when it attacks out of nowhere, where I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on, all I know is I'm having a panic attack (another of my diagnoses) but have no idea why, can't point it out, can't identify the trigger. And that weirdly enough, gives me comfort, being able to tell what's causing me to be anxious, that's why I love horror games, rather be able to point it out than having no idea what's happening. Idk if someone's ever experienced something like that

One of the video games that worked for me in my difficult stage of anxiety even if you may not believe it was Tony hawks Underground, because the game has a mode where you can skate without ever falling off the board, and you can do incredible tricks around the level, for me is one of the games that calms me down. since you can also spend HOURS playing at different levels listening to your favorite music, while you build a park, your own board, your own character and even your own logo and graffiti, :) is my favorite game and what is yours?

WoW is absolutely effing amazing only thing is that it really isn't a good game for anxiety because they try to force PVP or just coop too much. Over the yrs they have made tons of achievements, dungeons, etc catered to group playing and while it is an MMO game, not everyone can or wants to play with other people. Some people just plain out suck, take the game too seriously or just like trolling and makes playing these types of games difficult for most.
