I'm the first comment in 6 years apparently, and I wanna say; even though I never knew he speaks in such an exaggerated way, it astonishes me that so many people were disappointed with fable 3... It was in premise, what he described, and it was a great game. The whole Fable series was great! Such a unique and different bunch of little games. Never felt particularly 'mainstream' or from a triple A studio, but it never mattered, they were a joy to play.

As long as you don`t get your hopes up listening to these interviews, the games are pretty fun. If you hear them going on and on about how great it`ll be, you`ll be so disappointed.

I like his revolutionary ideas, and his grand plans for games. If the technology was there to do what he wanted, I think he could create one of the best games in history. People complain he never manages to fulfill his promises, but at least he tries.

I love how peter gets excited over his own stuff, it shows that he actualy gives a crap, unlike alot of games developers who just want to sell. So yeh, maybe we get let down by his ideas not making final cuts, but it makes it a damn good time imagening what to expect in the mean time, and you still get good games (if not perfect) at the end :D

This game is going to be amazing. I don't really like the idea of the gamescore wepons but other than that, I think we got a really good game ahead of us. If the gamescore wepons are based on JUST fable 3 (possibly 2) gamescores, that wouldn't be to bad though.

I was a little disappointed by Fable 2 because of the lack of boss battles but I loved how you could interact with the world and the economy...I can not freaking wait to try this out if the interactions with the world are half as enticing as Molyneux is making them out to be and they bring back some of the epic boss fights from Fable I then this is going to be one of the best games in history

I agree it needs to be longer. I dont mind having DLC come out but make the DLC more then an hour of gameplay. Make the DLC like another 10 hours then it will be worth 800 microsoft points or make the game come on like 4 discs. Even mass effect 2 came on 2 discs and to me wasnt long enough but thats what keeps players wanting the next game.

I'm really interested in how the third fable is going to work out, especially the balance of power aspect. Though, as a female gamer, I do have to disagree with with some of Molyneux said, sometimes I only helped people if they promised payment, etc. Not out of moral obligation. Buut, I really like how the game will have the conflict of personal power and the promises that got you there, especially keeping up with everyone's needs. Plus project natal too, kind of eerie in a way, but amazing.

Even if this guy does not deliver on what he says, I still enjoy watching this guy talk. He has an incredible imagination. Also note that he may not be a liar at these given moments of time before the finishing of a game because it all very well may be in the game.. just not the final game. Catch my drift? And it is not hard to believe if you think about it, all of the things he wants to do with a game.. just is not possible with the limitations of current consoles. So blame the consoles!

the storyline is fine...just add challenging sub quests that actually test ur skills. I mean its better to make the sub quests too hard than too easy because the story can be kept accessible fan base they want which should keep everyone happy

you know what would be better than guards, your own personal army of mercenaries, soldiers and allies, kinda like Charles, from saving Charlie mission, that you meet throughout the game. That would be a cool thing to have in Fable 3 but they would have to make it optional. Also it could add depth to the game, especially if the characters are interesting and not carbon copies of each other

they left out a couple important questions, does your choice at the end of fable 2 effect your begining in fable 3? and what if you dont wanna be a king, sitting on a throne bossing people around sounds more like a sims game then an rpg, no one wants to be the dungeon master

He doesn't "lie for sales" he gets over enthusiastic and says things he's wanting in the game or trying to put into the game. Hes more like a fanboy of his own game and hyping what hes thinking is going to be in the game rather than going off of pure fact.

I like the fable games and i like the things they're tying to do with this game but i would like some kind of system where you have different routes to go about doing the story say it depends on your character alignment, you could go a criminal rout, or general to either beat albion under your rule or save it, kind of thing.

I hope this game does not end. thats the bad thing with the other 2 fables, is that when you beat it, its over, there are no more quest, and you do the same thing over, and over. i wan this game to just keep on going on, and there to have more and more challenges as you play it. like online or just more to do. just a way to make it not end.

I'm so looking forward to this game, I'm not sure how the whole ruler thing is going to work at all but for some reason I do kinda trust Molyneux et al to find some way of getting what they want. That being said, this whole talk of ruling power etc. I'm worried about, saying that you'll have all this power is fine but you'll always be limited. They're not going to be able to anticipate and incorparate every idea we could have and so having so much power will highlight the power you don't have.

I have high hopes for this game. I really enjoyed Fable I. When I got it I played through the entire game in one night-- I loved it that much! Fable 2 was not quite as good but I still love it and play it all the time. But what I really want to see is the possibility of having a child and having it grow up past the age of 8 like in fable 2 and then maybe he could go and fight with you when he or she is of proper age. That would be EPIC!

Fable 2 was released in 2008. That's 4 years later than Fable. Fable 3 will come out 2 years later than Fable 2, though I predict it will come out between early to mid 2011. Fable 2 was started from scratch while Fable 3 will probably use similar mechanics. Not to mention that Fable 2 came out for the 360, so the team had a lot more to work with and to experiment with. I do agree that Fable 3 might be very similar to 2. But Halo 3 wasn't bad and it was like Halo 2. It didn't make it a bad game.

I believe, however, that once this gets set up and your kingdom is basically set in stone the way it is, with all of the rules and ppl living in your castle, and so forth, the game will become just like all other RPGs that aren't online. The same stuff over and over again.While this has online aspects, gameplay wont be affected by these features. it will end

Fable 2 is, let us say more "advanced" than Fable 1, but keep in mind that it took many years to make. Fable was released in 2004; Fable 2 in 2009; and Fable 3 is planned to be released some time in 2010. I cannot see how Fable 3 can be an entirely new game. I see it having the same graphics; possibly, with the release date in mind, same, or only slightly changed map; and finally the same outcome of character, getting very boring after the main quest is completed.

actually fable 2 kicks ass its ONE of the best xbox360 games just as fable 1 was ONE of the best xbox games and ive been playing fable2 for a year now there are ALOT of side quests and its un ending ok i got a quest yesterday where my son left home to become an adventurer and he went in a hobbe cave

Indeed! The story in fable I and II was way too short. The system for casting spells in fable II is really fun and inventive, but it needs more spells! Fable II would rock if the story was 12+ hours, armor was added and alot more spells/weapons (maybe crafting weapons too?)

I don't think that Peter is actually promising. Instead of saying Fable lll will have something, he asks why can't we do it. I think he wants to put these features in but something is possibly getting in the way. I'm still getting Fable lll though because this might actually be the one that he brings his ambitions into play.

the permanent glitches on Fable 2 ruined it for me after playing the shooting range game the score chart stayed on my screen for ever even if i restarted the xbox... plus the other 100 or so glitches i wont get into right now...

Peter Molyneux should get rid of safety lock when you have a guest in the game or at least give the guest the ability to choose if he wants safety lock on because the game revolves around your choice.

I liked Fable 2 (even with its flaws) and I hope Fable 3 wont disappoint
