It is now nearly 2 weeks later and only now has Talon finally told me that I misheard Edobean and she specifically asked us to sing Happy Birthday rather than shout it at the end of the run. Talon, being visibly panicked and unprepared to sing, noticed that I misheard and shouted along with me to get out of singing. This is absolutely hilarious to me and I'm definitely not posting this just to take Talon down with me >:^)

When this game came out I though it was too short, with not a lot of levels and bosses. I returned to it time and again though the years, and I reinstalled it again this year and now I can say I've come around, it's a plenty good length, it's built for speedrunning, which should have been obvious to me, but alas, I get it now. Trying to get all the red rings, S ranks and challenges is a lot of fun (specially when you enable the homing attack on Classic Sonic). I don't do glitches like going out of bounds and skipping certain triggers though, I like to see the different routes that were designed.

Now sonic generations is one of my personal favorite sonic games of all time even though I haven’t played it in a very long time. And I’m excited to play it again. Heck sonic X shadow generations comes out autumn 2024 so it’ll be the perfect time for me to come back to it.

That's probably because the GameCube never got any exclusives. Adventure 1 and 2 were exclusive the Dreamcast until they made the enhanced ports to put on GameCube. Not sure why Heroes is included in "Dreamcast era" which is why i typically go with "Adventure era" since Heroes follows the same storyline and uses the same engine and such.

Sonic Generations is the best Sonic game because, by rule, all Sonic games only have one good level, and Sonic Generations is a game made up of all those good levels. Hence, it is the best.

The fanbase isnt helping. SEGA's setting him in the hole that the fans dug. Take Unleashed for example. It was not received well when it first came out. Now it's a fan favorite. What changed? Absolutely nothing. The Sonic fanbase is so fickle that SEGA doesn't know how to make a good game anymore. They really should stop listening to us and just make their games. When they did that we got games like the classics and the Adventures...

@@NamekianG No, that’s just them being bad. Unleashed was always bad, like the werehog stages only made you mad, and were the opposite of what Sonic is supposed to be. Nobody came for a beat them up. People are just biased for the daytime stages so they try to ignore the nighttime. The sonic game developers just don’t know how to develop games properly on average. Lost World, Colours, Generations, were all good games, but they lost their momentum with Forces. I still don’t know why people hated on Lost World though
