I saw the full episode online. Stephen never made it back, he was two away when he got caught. And the last contestant, Megan, went for her high offer of £25,000 and made it back. She got 18 questions right added with her 1 step head start which took her up to 19 steps, but she got caught with little time to spare (25 seconds if I can remember).
