I remember getting mine the day after it launched and officially retiring the g7 SE purely because the shape of the kaleid won me over along with the tactile buttons i have big hands so this controller is perfect

@@BongoisaPyro i own the kaleid mechanical but the dpad is uncomfortable for me in fighting games, membrane dpad g7 se is so easy do combos but this microswitch is hard ( i have both g7 SE and Kaleid not flux)

Awesome unboxing controller so I counted every single unboxing controller video since the beginning and now not counting the future once you did 146 unboxing videos and yes I count them but all of them has been awesome

I got the mech version of this. It has thicker handles or something compared to my g7se. Which is good because it fits my hand way better. I lover everything about the controller besides the bumbers. They really really suck. The paddles are in a way better position as well. I was always pressing them on accident just by gipping the controller on the se. I dont have that problem anymore. You basicalt have to fully lift to get your finger on the bumpers compared to being able to roll your finger on other controllers.

hey bro this flux has the same features as kaleid microswtich ? i mean 1000 hz native winodws 10 500 hz with audio vibration superior if you compare to g7 se i own the kaleid mechanical but the dpad is uncomfortable for me in fighting games, membrane dpad g7 se is so easy do combos but this microswitch is hard ( i have both g7 SE and Kaleid not flux)

I bought this conroller last week but the vibration feedback on the left and right side are very different. I thought it was a defective piece so got it replaced but even the replacement has the same feedback. The left trigger has much higher feedback on vibration and right one is very different. Can anyone explain or help?

I picked up this controller recently and I love it but the only issue I have is I can’t turn on my xbox by pressing the home button after unplugging it and plugging it back in I have to turn on the console by pressing the power button on it which is not a major issue I just find it kinda strange since I can turn on my xbox by pressing the home button on the G7SE and the 8bitdo ultimate

The best Ideal controller should have these. Adjustable pressure on the thumbsticks, interchangeable buttons, 4 back paddles, button remapping, gyroscope, and low response time if not wire. Would be great to have optional wire or unwired. Also being small and sleek. This is a ideal best controller to me. Mainly for competitive MMO FPS games. One area Xbox is lacking behind PS is gyroscope. I really hope they start gyroscope controllers.

Gyroscope is an unnecessary gimmick. Download the Gamesir app for customization. Small controllers are also a negative for most average gamers. They are very niche.

@@RedBandanaGaming Yes them are optional, but gyroscope controllers if you know how to use them is definitely a advantage. I love gyroscope controllers. Exspecailly being able to adjust the gyroscope in games. You can't go wrong. It's just hard for most people to learn. If you learn it though. You'll never want to go back. It's mainly for very high level competitive shooters. MMOs. Basically the best of the best. Having gyroscope over a non gyroscope player. Non gyroscope player will lose probably 8 out of 10 times. Don't get me wrong. It's the player as well. I have killed many players on COD that used mouse and keyboard, but given gyroscope option it very much evens up to mouse and keyboard.

Thats about all I see is it looks cool. No extra interchangeable buttons, no 4 back paddles, no button remapping, no thumbstick pressure adjustment, I would give this a 6/10. Thats being generous because of color changes and look. Not a competitive controller for MMOs FPS in my opinion.

@@RedBandanaGaming I agree wired controllers are better to a certain extent. 100% I have a razor wolverine V2 chroma. It has advantages against elite series 2 but also lacks. Plus is it's wired. Negative is the lack of all button remapping.

It's called options. Regular Kaleid being the better option. I play claw. So 4 back buttons. That I know would be exesibly sensitive Would have me holding the controller all retarded and the like. Any right button/paddles are useless to me. And would actually get in the way with pressure points to take advantage of my own leverages. Changing the pressure on a stick module actually lowers it's longevity. Yes these are halls. But mechanical drift/wear would happen a lot quicker. Button remaping can literally be done within the Xbox accessories app. And in Windows. Not "competitive" for MMOs he says. What's there to compete. All MMOs are PvE. Just press the buttons. Gyro is also a dumb gimic. And since I play claw. This option if in use. And unable to turn off (some gamepads) this would also throw my aim off. Since I shift my hand based on the inputs I press. For FPS this is just fine. The shell being similar to the size of an Xbox controller is also a plus. The g7 SE felt to much like a 360 controller. Higher default polling rate than standard Xbox controllers. Xbox doesn't natively allow gamepad to surcumvent DLI and go over 125hz. That why ganesir only has the option on PC. And keeping it at 250hz. ( Cheat devices are going over that now. And breaking ToS) ---- My gripe with gamesir is the odd Start and Select button placements. For all there Xbox gamepads. The Kaleid lack of toggle mute button. (At least Xbox allows the share button to now be bonded for that) Lack of trigger stops. That I then have to install. Also there exesibly sensitive back paddles. I then have to add a spring just between the plastic button and PCB. Also the Thumbcaps are counter intuitive. Why add an edge if you have a inner dome instead of a concave center. So I'd switch that to Xbox versions right away. ---- Casual bots always fall for useless features and gimmic. Yet the QOL improvements are looked over b/c they spend to much time focus on them. There are alternatives. Would I recommend it. Yeah I've already have. Would I use it over my main 1708, no. (I got HE, extra support on my bumpers. 20% more sensitive triggers. With full travel and trigger stops, Only one back button. Bonded to RT, RS3, or B.) I got a g7 se, and a Elite2 with new TMR sensors. Just gathering dust. The kaleid is at least a simple option. With no useless gimmics. Besides RGB that would get disabled instantly.

@@Vizr. Thanks for explaining to me (your) personal play style and buttons style. It's ignorant to say gyroscope is retarded because you don't use it. Just because things work for you, don't mean they'll work with everyone. I'm shore alot of people would agree with what I said. I'm shore some will agree with what you said.
