Hey, so it is compatible with CoD: Mobile, Honkai etc. natively. If you hold home + B for 3 secs then it pairs as an X4, if you hold home + A then it pairs as a basic XBox controller. Home being the XBox button. You can have both modes paired and switch between. Blue light on for XBox, white for X4. Obvs in XBox mode you can't control volume, take screenshots, or change settings in the app. Literally no idea why this isn't documented, I found it by accident! 😂

I tried all that I even tried downloading their app to update the controller but the update kept gating stuck. I'll check it out again today perhaps.

It's very neat for portability! I'd love one for my bus commutes. I've used a Kishi v1 for 2 years and I haven't upgraded to any of the newer improved models such as backbone/Gamesir x2 & x3 or even Kishi v2, purely because I wouldn't be able to fit any of them in my pocket. I guess I'm the niche this controller is made for.

Two things: - COD Mobile has restrictions on third party interactions there is a way around it to map controls to touch interactions but no matter the controller you should not be able to use it directly. - Gamesir and Nubia Red Magic appear to have a partnership for some Mobile controllers that Gamesir make. Personally I prefer the G8 however for being out and about the X4 is okay better in terms of form factor that X2.

The BSP controllers are truly great I have every one of them up to the D9 which the D6/7 8 9 have proved the company is listening!

@@DNAMobileGaming i think they recently released a d8 pro and there is a d10 in two variant(a normal and a d10S which got a cooling fan on the back)

Despite my very large hands, I don't quite like the big bulky aspect of this controller. I think I like the smaller BSP D controllers. I like smaller more compact things I can easily slide in my pocket.

Man at that price you may as well just drop 200 on a retroid pocket 4 pro. You can map touch to the buttons for google play games that are touch only. Your buttons will just work for controller support games. And you can emulate up to ps2

Ha did I do good? The x4 is actually a really great controller style I hope they continue with this and make it 10 fold better the next iteration! Before I got my G8+ the X4 was my go to especially when I discovered that you can use it for COD.

I have the G8 (which I love) and modified to use it on my Samsung S9+. I just bought a used backbone (I hate it). With how good the G8 is I am not sure why anyone would want this one.

The G8 had a few to many flaws still and I cannot wait to share a new controller that is coming because it can play every Android game and emulator on Android. The Backbone is a joke too I sent mine back to where it came 😜

Oh that would be cool maybe a future proof option to even change the joystick location. Here we come $250 mobile controller 😜 great ideas though!

Wishing they also had PlayStation buttons for if you wanted PlayStation imulation is NOWHERE near the same thing as wishing you had some cheap magnetic buttons that were PlayStation design....the comparison of magnetic buttons to where the joysticks are located is ridiculous and stupid. But let's get real, I haven't even owned my Gamesir x2 pro for six months now, and my nephew touched my controller today and lost my B button. It's nowhere to be found. And now a controller I haven't even owned 6 months is basically useless unless I wanna play without real buttons. Why you ask?!?! Because they don't send extra buttons (which would be ease to do) when they know they are magnetic and they don't even sale replacements either, when they know they are magnetic and fall off. So, to suggest that is the same thing as being able to switch where the joysticks are is completely upsurd, ridiculous, and retarded. Extra buttons when you loose them (to simply replace them) or aftermarket buttons (with different symbols that go in the exact same place) is not at all the same thing as cutting holes in the controller and changing where the joysticks are located. We're talking about putting buttons in the place where it already belongs. Your comparison is outrageous and ridiculous and sound so completely stupid and ignorant for a gamer. Just saying. 😛🤦

Question time: what type of file is best to run on emulator? If an emulator can run different type of file one of them is zip. Should I run the game as a zip or is it best to unzip and run it that way?????

He's wrong. The gamesir x4 has an xbox mode by using the function button and yes it works with cod very well in this mode. Shouldn't make reviews before understanding the product.

I'm not wrong at all, it's not made known in the manual this mode exists so being wrong is incorrect. The company should have put that you can switch the modes and I discovered this later on and made a video on how to do it. So saying I'm wrong is not justifiable thanks anyways.

400mAh battery in each controller mind you I never cared to shared this because I was able to play Warzone for 4ish hours without even needing to plug it in.

can you put .sb3 (scratch files), rename the the extension name to a .nds file on a R4 card, i had scatchnapped and baldi on it.

@@JTMF.2010 oh I know what Scratch is I didn't know what the extension was however but I definitely know what it is. I use a program periodically called Sketchware Pro it's literally Scratch for Android app and game development. I've developed many games/apps since 2017 using that program. However what you're asking is highly unlikely as just like any other console out there, the game is written in certain code. So just changing the extension wouldn't make it playable on a DS however there are ways to make homebrew games but I've never searched them out for the DS.

Can these companies stop putting buttons right under the D-Pad, trying to play Street Fighters and your thumb will likely slide into those idiotic button placements. The G8 Galileo is notorious for the stupid capture button that can't even be turned off!
