Most of these "X Expert reacts to Y" type of videos have a lot of people who have little to no video game experience, and its a gem to find a series where the expert talks about the mistakes and forgives them based on the developmental limitations. I love how he knows about gaming and why some firearms look a certain way, because he knows the game, like the Cyberpunk video where he knew the game is a futuristic-retro 80s theme and he reviewed the guns basing his opinion on this knowledge, and same thing for many of his other guns reviews of other games. Not only he knows a lot about firearms but also the games he talk about which is really cool

Yes, because of this I don't mind his lack of 40k knowledge in the Necromunda Hired Guns vid. He's pretty much right any way without it. I just want to correct him that a stub gun is any gunpowder handgun & an autogun is anything we'd view as an assault rifle. Mostly. Edit: also I meant inform, not correct.

Valve doesn't even care about firearms detail at all since the beginning: Half Life has Glock that doesn't sound like Glock, and underbarrel GL equipped oversized MP5 Half Life 2 has an SMG that fires grenade larger than the barrel itself. Counter Strike has mirrored ejection port Left 4 Dead has (typo edit) 50-rounds-clip full auto M16 without modification visible and 15 rounds M1911 again without modification Left 4 Dead 2 has burst fire SCAR (as far as i know SCAR has no burst fire variant) and weapons that sounds unpleasant, seriously the AK sounds were unpleasant, instead of sounding like actual guns or common action movie and game guns. CSGO has weapons with safety on in the model yet can still fire, and also many weapons that sounds like airsoft.

A note about the P90. It came in different versions throughout the years of production. You can see in the earlier games that it was indeed depicted with the built in sights. The version used in Global Offensive is the more modern version with Magpul style iron sights and a Picatinny rail attached to the top. This variant of the P90 was first seen in Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare. This particular version is called P90 TR (TR stands for "Triple Rail")

Actually In Vietnam, the Army recommend use right hand to shot because it will avoid being hit by bullet shell pop out to your eye when shot right hand and reduce unsafe move when carry, reload and shot. Some of use cant fire right hand for manu reason (eye, left hand is more handy than right one, ect...). But somehow for us, use left hand is better because you can reload and ready for action better than use right hand like most people and it make u more cooler :)) I am sure that is how Minh Le "Goose" want

My friend Dirk bought it from him, then I bought it off Dirk because it's a piece of history as far as im concerned. I dont even play airsoft any more. Last I heard Minh works in Seattle for Valve and still has family in Vancouver and I still have him on Facebook so I should really get the Mp5 signed at some point lol. I was 16 when I met him when he was 25 or so, playing at Panther paintball in the airsoft club called OpFor and BCAC. Hope he's doing well, he's a good guy. Minh did all the coding, it was his baby that he worked on while going to college at SFU. His game. Cliffe is the guy who made the sprites and animations, and many of the maps. I beta tested Minh's second game, Tactical Intervention but on the original HL engine, then when the game released it was released on Source. It's not a very good game, but I think you can still get it on Steam. Dang, I dont see it. Oh well, youre not missing much.

Until he mentioned it I never thought about the reason for the speed change when you take the knife out was because of a weight change I always just figured that it would be more so along the lines of it being more clunky while holding a rifle/LMG/SMG due to it restricting your arm movement which would reduce your ability to run normally because as much as we don't really think about it how you move your arms does greatly affect your speed while running. Try running with your arms crossed and just see how much more awkward it feels. That being said I do think that it is really all just in the name of game mechanics because realistically there is no way you run the same speed with a AUG as a MP7 IRL.

13:50 I always called that the "jam enhancer" because I have rarely ever heard of it help solve a jam, but I've heard a ton of stories about the forward assist causing a jam to become worse.

I like it when there's a firearms expert, who doesn't look as if he spends more time in the gym than with firearms or researching them, who doesn't try to appear more masculine than a silverback gorilla, but who is just an ordinary guy, who does know a whole shitload about firearms. That's why I love this guy's vids.

Too bad they didn't write the input cl_righthand 0 in console before filming, then the character would've been left handed and used the correct model.

Former combat arms soldier here, I just want to make a quick statement about tapping the bolt release. In this video he states that you wouldn't do that and that you would just carry on pulling the trigger in a mid-mag change. No, you would not. Drills are done for a reason. That reason is so that you have muscle memory to default to when shit gets spicy. The soldier will be trained to tap his bolt release regardless of the bolt position so that he doesn't have to remember the state of his rifle. If he CAN remember he will but in a firefight your hands will do what they were trained to without much interference from your brain. The soldier WILL tap his bolt release on each mag change. Hope this helps, otherwise great material.

i agree for this! Titanfall and Apex have really thought out and wacky weapons, like energy actuated machine guns(Devotion) , Double barreled SMGs (Alternator), electromagnetic snipers (Sentinel) and Bullpup AK47s (Flatline)
